I see craftable weapons have been nerfed to uselessness now. REALLY?! SOVEREIGN SWORD does 16 damage and requires level 8 whereas hunter sword has no minimum level, adds +3 to init and +10 against animals... Seriously... LAY OFF THE CRACK when doing re-balances... Most of the weapons are fairly useless now The shadow sword... is more like a shadow dagger... or perhaps... shadow letter opener... Another joke... the Pyre Brand... seriously...

Have played about 6 games so far with no SK after the initial couple of pop-ups except for me building a 3rd city.
In the description of Paladins, it says that they can heal and do massive damage to the undead. I see no ability to heal and no extra damage to undead. Why not rename them... maybe... Drake Riders? Or give them the abilities in the description. They are the FINAL unit... and they seem VERY underwelming... especially for 2 logistics units.
It's only happened today, but it looks like some sort of bug. I get a black screen and a dialogue from the SK and it happened every turn for 3 turns in a row, then the game crashed. This was after starting a new game, so maybe 5-6 turns in. It started after a normal SK message (with animated SK graphic).
So, I've never actually SEEN this happen... but it APPEARS that the factions can settle areas under control of monsters. Judging by the nearness to monster layers I've found some of their cities, it seems they are breaking the rules. Which is REALLY annoying. In addition, are the factions armies and settlers completely immune to being attacked? I watched them zip right by several roaming monsters who ignore them in favor of more tasty meat (ME!) And a
The verbiage is very small (written by those tiny dwarf hands no doubt)... but I think it should be fine for new players... it's us old war dogs that have expectations who are easily confused.
OMG... the falcon from the Ranger's skill tree has to be the lamest, move near-sighted bird ever... don't call it a falcon... call it a bat... it's that blind. It has LESS visual range than a HUMAN scout. So, I'm assuming it's both near sighted and flies only a few inches above the ground.
Iv'e quite playing... that's how much this bothers me.
F' it! I got one faction to go to my side. ALL of the other declared war on me... usually after I did the first part of their quest and but before I turned it in. Factions are F'ed... or they have been changed in the absolutel lamest way as to warrant wet noodle beatings to the designers! And I don't mean the small noodles... I mean the long lo mein noodles! Besides... after the beatings, you have some thing to snack
At some point in most of my games, I get a blank pop-up that says "The Beasts Know Your Compassion" and then a YES... nothing else and nothing seems to happen.
I'm not sure if it's some weird change in the algorithm or what, but I'm having factions declare war on me right after I meet them. And I don't meet them very early because they are on the other side of the blasted map. What the heck? This has happened in almost every game so far since the update. Update - more factions just turning against me before I can even do one quest. That is LAME.
These aren't new... but still present... 1) In melee, several melee only attacks for monsters are ranged - notably... the spider devour attack, the ogre attack (not the boulder) can hit anyone, anywhere... and several other monsters attacks. 2) Also in melee, casters don't seem to need to follow the rules for spells, even champions if on automatic. For instance, Varda's thunderstrike attack requires an an empty square and she ends up on the empty square when
I noticed this before but I don't think I reported it. The spider's DEVOUR attack SHOULD be a melee attack (unless you can explain how they can devour something from across the field), but it seems to be a missle attack instead.. apparently, they can devour from the other side of the combat field... which is nonsensical.
The resources on world tiles is still disppearing. It's happened multiple times with the current game.
I found a couple of bugs so far. 1) Enchanted Supplies does increase logistics by 3, as it says in the description. It increases it by 1. Repeatable. Confirmed. 2) Crafting mana potions - potions do not actually show but I notice it goes right to mana. You might want to change it to liquid mana or some such since I think it will confuse people who don't see a potion in their inventory.
Can we make the weapon selection a little broader or more obvious for champions? For instance... what kind of weapon can the giant champion equip? I have not found one yet. Same thing with the elemental. It should be obvious... maybe a skill ... stafves... one handed weapons... two handed weapons (if you include those)... bows... etc. It sure would help. Custom champions would be AWESOME! Make a custom champion... pick appearanc
I agree... heroes are downgraded severely in SK. No mount choices. Either the hero has a mount or doesn't. It never changes and there are no cool mounts to find. Clothes don't change appearance - AT ALL. Heroes look EXACTLY the same whether they are wearing nothing (gasp!) or plate mail! Weapon choices are... um... TINY. You can equip ONE type of weapon... or no weapon depending on the champion. I have to say this is the biggest re
Similar issue just happened. I destroyed one of his fortresses and got the Tower of Mastery dialogue and +5 threat.
The border lines (red in my case) disappear sporadically, so it no longer shows the lines around cities and outposts. The only way to get them back is to exit the game and come back in. Also, sporadically and for no reason I can determine the resource (food, magic, production) disappear from tiles. And there's no way to see what they were. If you click on a tile, you should have it show the resources as well as whether it is settle-able. &nbs
Happened again just now. Got the first quest for the Giants and the quest location didn't appear (it's the get their language book quest).
The RUSH ability bestowed by the Warlord sovereign ability does not work. I have tried it DOZENS of times and it has not worked for ANY of the units that activate it. It's basically a waste of a turn.
A couple more bugs I found today... 1) The Imperial Rebels archers have the wrong portrait icon. Not sure if that's a bug, or if you haven't gotten to it yet... but now you know about it. 2) The SK cheats! I saw... right before my eyes, the SK troops found a city in an area controlled by a neutral monster. Why does he get to cheat? Is that a bug, lazy programming or just another reason to kill his cheating self? &
More bugs! I restored to a previous save a few turns before and now he pops up and says I attacked one of his strongholds. Some weird bug. Random SK wrath?
Just got a weird bug. I was playing Warlord (custom) and I had just gotten Guild Master II and suddenly the Sorcerer King pops up and gives his "Tower of Mastery" speech and declares me persona non grata. Definitely a bug as I was 3 upgrades from choosing that option.
I felt that it was fine before that they rarely got attacked... they're SCOUTS... it's what they do. It's like saying, gee... the Navy Seals or Army Rangers don't get noticed by the enemy as they move through their country to their op zone. It's because they're trained to avoid detection. I assumed a scout would be the same and do things like avoid leaving a trail, etc. to be noticed. Now... I think he wears neon pink, sings at the top of his
