ough one to call. I think the game is pretty much ready for release.
Could be i am over reacting. Lots of differences GC3 vs. SK For on the total stability of SK. While the are some bugs to worked out, I agree balance is is the big problem and probably the easiest to fix. BUT the best way to fix? It's make changes and send it out to all of us for feedback rinse and

SD i do love the game and wish it the total best. But as you know there was a tremendous negative with the release of GC3 being too soon. Now to be fair it is hanging is at 73 % approval and the vast majority of those 74% still would have liked a another beta of two on polish and balnce (my self included.) I understant budgets driving schedule, and frogboy is much smarter that one the pros /cons regarding release date. Personally i do not c
8G, i5 Intel vid. tiny-med maps ; no problem Large; game quickly goes to a slow crawl. (no crashes but it was painfully slow and quit ~turn 30)
Got the skill to craft additional armor & weapons. Problem is that was all i got [e digicons]:'([/e] . No new craftable armor or weapons
what size of map are you playing on? I find it fairly easy to convert factions to my side on hard.
All my games were in 5.4 and were on small maps that my comment was in ref to. Well almost, also played 1 tiny 1 large (lrg bogged down so only played a little) sis not cout them. Strange thing; you should mention the hard setting,, now that i think about it, i did do 3 (again sm
One thing I do think should change: SK at higher threats needs to send up far fewer mooks, and save up (if he has to) for forces that can give the hero stack a challenge. 95% of my battles were auto-resolves just out of sheer monotony (and this was on normal settings) On hard settings, I consider it an unplayable slog right now where it's more grind than strategy.
Very good points. Like the idea o
attack-power punch and there's no way to really fix that.
I agree with you low punch comment, but to fix it why not just give them more punch
Agreed, Did 3 games on normal, & while the baddies spam was ok (compared to hard) ALL 5 factions allied with the SK before i could do anything about it [e digicons]X|[/e]
Very good comments XWerewolfX [e digicons][/e] Thanks for replying Scott. Good news >> Scout fix= really good news [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
Well not so much broken as it need work * Snipers moved too far up * Increase army size WAY too far up tree. Ranger really needs extra units in army. Commander starts with extra slots and i understand this from a 'lore' stand point bot vanda really doesn't need the help as much as ranger does. Consider upping ranger army size .. maybe a ranger tree skill to do so EARLY * In general has some good skills but everything it too serial
http://screencast.com/t/3a2JGWaaR nuff said ..... Well on second thought Small map, hard, Guardian sov. While i have won in 5.4 on hard, the Guardian sov. is just not up to the task. See Guardian sov tree post
Strange problem with FOW. Everything was fine, saved & quit. when i came back to game ~90% of FOW was gone and what was left formed a straight line on the left side of map. Save available http://screencast.com/t/FyAy0cnV
3 different games and they were always in short supply till late game when i was just mopping up everything
Yup this has been happening for awhile now. it usually happens after enchanting certain items
Ok i sent you the save with my info #XUP-301-82156 but as i said, i tried to duplicate and could not. If it happens again is there anything i should pay attention to?
I thought Scott said it was taken out. Tiny map, hard, lost at turn ~150 (defeat screen came up). DD count was only 180. >>STRANGE went back and reloaded the came at turn 118. Played past turn 160 and the defeat never cam up again ?? Any idea what is going on??
Playing v5.4? What map size / difficulty were you on?
Yes, Tiny, hard. Without RD spell i would have been screwed but with it Ok. Although mana was very hare to come by. Played commander
I had 3 clerics in my army (no idea why but i did). Was attacking (forget what), the "pedictor box" (lower right) tool tip showed only a 7% probability of a hit. ALL three hit in a row. Now i know its a statistically possibility BUT only 0.03%. Just thought it was strange
Seriously, man? Grow up. This is NOT how you provide feedback. The balance changes ARE a bit too nerfing, but to come in here and say that they must be smoking crack is not only immature, but counter productive. As you say, only a fool doesn't heed advice.
Completely agree on both counts .. er let me see 1 grow up 2 are a bit too nerfed 3 immature, & counter productive
You need to use reduce doomsday spell. Same thing would have happened to me (~mid game+) if i didn't
enchanted hammers can be cast more than once on the same city
really coming along great guys. keep it up [e digicons][/e] >>Players can choose what Rival factions will show up in a random map, and the overall difficulty of Rivals HOW, i could not deselect them, had every faction on a tiny map [e digicons][/e] The scout actually traveled OVER a mountain, don't think its intended</s
Everything in visual ranges converges on scouts. Intentional? or bug?
you ave a major/minor health, why not for mana? asked in stream awhile back, Scott was surprised it was not there.
