Never heard of Dialbo. Any relation to Diablo? ;-p Going back to Diablo 2 is going back 10+ years in gaming technology. It's easily my favorite of the three. The eXpansion made it even better. Like I said, though, it doesn't look so great by today's standards.

Crystal shards are much more common, despite the map settings. Is that intended?
There are about 6-10 treasure chests around my starting position each game, but very few on the entire map beyond that.

Went to the "Rescue Drodin" quest and lost the battle with my (admittedly) weak army. Went back with my stronger stack and fought the "Kidnapper" stack, winning the fight. The unit Drodin that you're supposed to get as a result then appeared on the strategic map, but I was unable to select him or have him join an army. He then disappeared the next turn. I have a save that I sent Scott in which I loaded a perfectly normal save game and the entire map was revealed. Wh
I'm very close to considering Sorcerer King my favorite fantasy 4X game ever. The only thing standing in the way is the longevity of replayability, but you're already addressing that. I'd also like to see some many-part quests eventually. However, it's really hitting the right notes with me. It may even beat out Endless Legend for me. No exaggeration... I think it's because it plays just like the RPG/4X hybrid I've always wanted, where your adventuring leads to
Also, Scott, with the minors expanding, will they be attracting the attention of the SK much in the same way the player does?

Also, taking the horses option in the supplies Sovereign starting quest is meant to do what, exactly? Spawn a nearby resource? The map had spawned three separate horse resources right on top of each other about 10 tiles away...shouldn't they be closer?
I'm two episodes in to my new Let's Play for Sorcerer King and I think I'm not going to post them. When do you all think you'll have a "release candidate" for Sorcerer King? The changes here, while not insignificant, don't seem like they're too hard to implement at this point, considering how polished everything is. When do you think we'll see them?
