Bugs, Bugs and More Bugs for 5.2

I'm two episodes in to my new Let's Play for Sorcerer King and I think I'm not going to post them. There are a few bugs that are getting in the way a bit and I hope you guys can fix before Monday, when 5.2 goes official, so that I can proceed with a new LP next week. If not, I'll just wait until the next beta or possibly just the RC:

 

  • Some weird stuff is going on with the logistics town spell. I used it and it only increased my logistics by one, despite saying that it will increase by three.
  • There is no way to tell what item is what in the new crafting screen. Mousing over the items doesn't show what they are. There's no description/item title below the icons, making it very hard to know what items I need. The new screen is pretty, though.
  • I still can't finish a single Imperium quest, a bug that I've already reported, because the locations don't show up. Kind of a buzz kill when the first minor I met was the Imperium. Their locations don't show up and you can't select a "Go To Location" in the diplomacy screen, either.
  • There is a weird pause now at the beginning of combat. A good 2-3 full seconds, maybe longer. Happens every time. - On Reload, It Doesn't Happen Any More. Strange.
  • There's still a lot of menu/notification overlap. I'll select "go to" for the shard being attacked and before I can even see it, I'll be in combat that a creep initiated. There should be a nice order to that instead...

 

This was only in about 40 minutes of play time, so there may be more. I think it'd be really helpful if there was a way to get feedback from the devs on which of these posts have been seen/addressed/added to the list. That way we can know if the bugs we're reporting should be fixed.

Also, taking the horses option in the supplies Sovereign starting quest is meant to do what, exactly? Spawn a nearby resource? The map had spawned three separate horse resources right on top of each other about 10 tiles away...shouldn't they be closer?

Most of these are all on our lists (Charles is on the Imperium bug today, actually).

I'd actually like to convince Brad to remove spells that give Logistics. Right now that system feels pretty soft (Cities, Abilities, Units, and Spells can all give Logistics) with the spells feeling a bit TOO easy.

Was the pre-battle slowdown due to spells being autocast, perhaps?

Nah, it was happening every battle and was pronounced. I have video of it, but I don't think it matters because they're gone. Ah well.

Good to hear about the imperium bug! Any chance that can be a hotfix before the weekend? If love to get a new LP going...
