Over the past year we`ve seen the retirement of the DR`s from Bioware and now J Wilson leaving D3. This is troubling. The Dr`s were forced out after the massive wave of hate towards Mass Effect 3 and the Old Republic. The Dr`s were behind some of the greatest rpg`s we`ve ever seen. Baldur`s Gate, Knights of the old republic, Mass Effect. Tossed away, Driven away by hate on the anounmous internet. J. Wilson, Senoir Designer on Company of Her

Dawn of War II From a pure value staid point I`ve gotten more enjoyment for the money from this serieis then anything I`ve ever bought. I paid $30 each for DoW2, Chaos Rising and Retribution. I`ve logged well over 1000 hrs on these. It has been absolutely fantastic. It has the best music and sound effects, Voice work I can remember. Those are important things for me. The MP is really where it takes off. I`ve nev
Only thing that seems crazy OP so far are those IG Catachan guys
The Catachan grenade blast ability is getting a damage nerf in the 3.8 patch that`s to be released today. They are an expensive Tier 1 unit. 400 req 40 power. They are the second most expensive T1 unit behind Space marine`s ASM squad at 500 req, 50 power. I don`t know what their upkeep cost is though. Countering them depends on which race you`re
Well if no one buys from them and Steam fails, then the government will just bail them out anyways right? Thats how capitalism works in NA nowadays
Not sure what this is supposed to mean. Are you commenting on the financial bailouts of Investment companies or the sale itself. The sale is great, It`s Entrepreneurship at its best. It`s selling a good product at a lower price, It`s perfect.
It does sound like it, yes. It's not my intention to shill for Steam here though, I just wanted to generate some awareness in case there are people on the PC Gaming forum here who didn't know about of this. Regardless of who you buy your games from, there are some really good deals here.
I was about to make the same post. Its all good.

This is great. I bought Bad company 2, F.E.A.R complete and Jedi knight complete in the last 15 mins. All for less then $30. Awesome. I can`t wait to see what the rest of the week brings.
How's the community size for DoW2? Steam has a crazy sale on gold pack right now, but based on what I've heard on Gamereplays forums most competitive players have given up on it until the next expansion is released. If that's the case, I'll just hold off and see how the expansion is received before committing any cash to it.
Well, The player base has stayed pretty stable. Steam stats say usually between 3K-3.5K all the time. I don`t have trouble getting a

I like SC2, played it quite frequently for awhile. I`m glad they didn`t change it dramatically from the original. There are quite a few changes that make it a different game. Most have already been listed here. Having said that, I`ve gone back to DoW2. I just like Relic`s games better. I have a hard time going to an rts that dosen`t have a cover system now. I also like the focus on fewer units, Each unit is critical to success.

I don`t care how badly PC games do at retail anymore. I usually buy games on steam during their crazy sales. I was interested in Alpha protocol, I was going to buy it at retail. Then steam put it up today for $7.50. Retail cant compete with that. If PC games do die(Never going to happen). I`ll find a new hobby. I have a guitar sitting near my desk, I haven`t learned to play yet. I have a new hobby waiting for me when the time co

I fully except Activision/Blizzard to turn Battle.net Into a steam competitor. I hope they do. We as PC game player`s need that competition. Steam as the only route to PC games is a terrible thing. I think Valve is smart enough not to alienate their core audience . They treat PC gamer`s very well with free update`s and games. I don`t want Valve calling the shots for PC games. I don`t want anyone c

Steam is the best DD service. There is no way around that. I own 6 games on impulse, I own 62 on steam. The great magority of new PC games are using steamworks for DRM and MP functionalty. Civ 5, Fallout New vegas and DoW2 Retribution are steam games. You can`t compete with that. I don`t like it, I`m a Valve fanboy. Microsoft recently announced the Games for Windows live marketplace, A direct competitor in the DD arena. I
