Did anyone else have alot of performance problem`s with Civ4? I own vanilla plus the two expansions, Once the map became filled improvement`s there was ALOT of stuttering frame rates happening. It killed the game for me, I can`t enjoy something that ran so poorly. I first tried the game with a AMD X2 2.8 ghz, 3GB ram, 8800GT 512, Vista 32 bit. Morrowind is way better then Oblivion. Oblivion is the Eldar Scroll`s game that came after Morrowind. It may be abit to old for you, I fould it to be a much more interesting RPG. Old thread, What the hell. Dragon Age IMO is no where near as good as Baldur`s gate 1 & 2. The combat system, Magic in paticular is "dumbed" down to MMO levels. I guess the D&D rules are really that important. The battle`s in BG 1 & 2 were very tactical and needed to be planned out for success. Mage`s in the BG series needed to be very careful about their spell use. Not so in DA. DA is a good RPG, It`s not Baldur`s Gate.&n
I would go with GC2, No 2 games of it will ever be the same. The AI is very well done. I find it quite amazing how you can "play" one AI against another diplomaticly. I`ve been playing the open beta for a few days. It`s ok. The ship combat is very similar to star fleet command 3. If you didn`t like that game, You won`t like this. You can move your ship along the z axis in STO, There aren`t top and bottom shield arcs so it doesn`t effect the game at all. The ground mission`s are standard mmo stuff. I didn`t enjoy them at all. I haven`t read all the post`s here, I`m just going to comment on Glenn Beck. I`m Canadian, I`m a conservative. I used to watch Glenn Beck every night when he was on CNN`s Headline news. 9/10, I found myself agreeing with everything he said. I felt he made compelling argument`s for every one of his issue`s.
