Ahh, the meat of it ...a StarForce apologist comes forth. The reason I posted that comparison? I figured if that didn`t get somebody`s attention then I might as well just give up. I`ve never been anything but impressed with this company, Until now. What other company has people(Kryo)on the forums helping people? None that I know of. What company updates their products like Stardock? None that I know of. It just seems to me that I`ve found the ugly underbelly. Since this... I purchased DA on Feb 9, I used the offline activation to play the game on a non internet PC. I haven`t been able to activate the game on my online PC since.</d

On Feb 24th 10:20pm I wrote back Hi, Try manually updating the serial number. Do this by going to Stardock Central, Tools > Register Products. In that menu use the tabs on the left side to select the category then in the main window please set the software name. Copy and paste the serial number in the box and hit update to update your serial number in the Stardock Central records. After that you should be all set. Just as a follow up if things are still not working ple

SDC will not activate DA on my online PC. I have reinstalled DL and DA, No luck. DL ver 1.5 will run just fine, But DA will not activate. SDC keeps giving me error code 102.Ticket ID: WTP-697887. I would also like to apoligize for the tone of the original post. I`m very frustrated at this point.

I read on these forums awhile ago that the epic generator was in danger of being cut. I did not see any confirmation that it was cut from DA. I`ve played a couple of DA games now and I haven`t seen the feature at end game. Am I missing something or was it cut?

kryo...I need your help again in Dark Avatar GalCiv2 Forums

I recently did an offline activation of DA. I`m no longer able to play the game on my online PC. I`ve done a complete reinstall of both DL and DA, Still no luck. DL will run fine. I tried activating DA through SDC, I keep getting Error:102. I`m also going to post the debug file. Thank you for your help. DA Installation Help in Dark Avatar GalCiv2 Forums

Hello I purchased the DA expansion. I want to download the expansion and copy it so I can play it on a PC without an internet connection. So far I`ve had no luck. The expansion seems to need SDC to work. So I tried copying SDC with the DA to a disk an copy both to my other PC, No luck. Is there a way to activate the expansion like the email option for DL? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Go to My Documents, My Games, GalCiv2. Double click on preferences and change the "Fullscreen=1" value to "Fullscreen=0". This was just posted by another user, I tried it and now my video runs Much better. Hope it helps.

I can`t afford to upgrade my PC at this point. So I was wondering if anyone out there might have some advice as to how to speed up performance, Especially late game.
