Every developer I've spoken to has verified that assumption, too. Steamspy is definitely accurate. How do they fix that? Some of the Steam reviews have some truth to them. Replayability and bugs are the biggest culprits. Which is too bad, because what's there is extremely fun, if not a bit flawed. I hope to see those numbers turn around and for Sorcerer King to find its audience.

Yeah, I don't like that review request and it was even more annoying since I already had done so. Soliciting for reviews is a bad idea and I can see it backfiring.
Yeah, this one might just be it for me. The screenshots look fantastic and the potential premise is my jam. I'm looking forward to the official announcement!!!
these are fantastic changes! So, um, ETA?
Oh wow.... Not one to care much for scores, but that's just broken. Not to mention that the 72 stacks of units is ridiculous.
Ugh...this again?
Great game, but the Elemental engine's (Kumquat?) stability and technical prowess is maddening. Among many other persistent issues, you still cannot attack an enemy group that is on a Crystal Shard, essentially removing your ability to stop them from destroying it. That is EXTREMELY ANNOYING :-( For the record, I'm not the biggest fan of Kumquat and look forward to you all moving away from it entirely after SK. HINT HINT WINK WINK ;)
I think the balance still isn't there. I think normal difficulty has become way too easy. Not just because I know how to play, but because the SK is not a threat at all. He hardly ever attacks my cities, hardly ever attacks the shards, NEVER casts spells in combat, and is basically simply a mouthpiece at this point, i.e. all bark and little-to-no bite. Each city I build should automatically generate threat, regardless of difficulty level. Every 4-5 outposts should ge
It's a tab on the crafting screen. On the left, there are two gold tabs. The bottom one pulls up the enchantment screen. It should probably be better explained. Here's an LP to help you if you need it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWo6P6qLJeE That's episode 0 and the rest is pretty informative ;-)
While we're at it, the first few interactions that the Sorcerer King has with the Commander are full of grammatical and spelling errors.
/agreed - He comes off ranty and rude. I rate his comment/complaint a 1/5.
No, I think geniusisme comes off a bit arrogant at times and it's hard to see the message through the rude attutude. I want this game to succeed and antagonizing someone asking questions that will only helps this game bothers me.
Dude, geniusesme, you realize that Adam probably knows more about this game than we all do, right? Listen to him in the stream; he knows his shit. But what do you need to be so antagonistic?
As for another victory condition, I'd like to see another quest series ending. Perhaps something akin to Lord of the Rings and doing some sort of quest line that effectively destroys the SK without having to fight him, but is hard in its own right. Sorta like a combination of Legendary Heroes and Lord of the Rings. Perhaps it woold change depending on the rivals you have on your map. They'd each know of secret series of items or spells or something that you
DON'T TAKE VARDA AWAY FROM MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! What's going to happen to her? She's pretty legit right now, just like everyone else.
I have to reiterate that I think that each sovereign needs unique units, especially end-game units unique to each sovereign. Replayability needs to be your focus and you need to make that replayability very obvious.
Oh and more lieutenants too, please! Gets old with only Aegethon and Vetrar. Tatty, bugs are legion?..I see some, but legion?
The expansion sounds fantastic, but please ensure that each minor you can play as changes the gameplay significantly enough that it feels different. Maybe one of them uses the crystals like the tyrant does, that is they absorb them for mana gains, or they require shards for their units (I can see Ceresa's legacy doing this). Anything to make it feel asymmetrical in their actual play, too. DLC is easy. Quests, spells, champs, and sovereigns. Maps are not someth
Yes to both. Path finding is god awful. Sorry guys :-(
^ What could possibly go wrong with that kind of marketing? ;)
Hope you enjoy it!!
Yes, congratulations to the team! Hope to see more of this one for years to come!
Ya know, the attributes you pick up through the quests? Courage, cowardice, scoundre, etc? I saw on Tom Chick's forums that Brad said that "beta testers didn't want this information displayed". I don't remember that discussion ever being had here, but I would like to tell those "beta testers" that they're wrong. Information, all of it, that affects gameplay should *always* be displayed when possible. I can't find it now, but I know of at least two beta test
Yes, I want to play as the Ice Lords and the Keepers. When you decide what faction gets the playable treatment next, please STRONGLY consider the idea of introducing one that would rather radically change the way you play.
