I've seen this issue come up on a variety of other forums and although I know it was cleared up in the xplay thread, I am making this explicit post to help make sure it isn't missed by new visitors:

Sins costs nothing to play on-line.

Here is the xplay segment transcript:

Morgan: "This is going to destroy lives, isn't it?"

Brad: "Yea, but you won't have to pay $15 a month for the service. (i.e. unlike MMOs)."

On-line play is free, unlimited.
Please spread the word in other forums!  And use a SINS banner :P

Yes the worst case to get no players would be to use GfWL.

We see it with Universe at War, it's basically a good Game, but no one plays it because ranking and world domination mode ist a Gold Feature, i hope that this GfWL will die very fast, before it will accepted(what i hardly can imagine, but if that happen i stop online playing games.)

Even some users find it cool, but only the ones that are already paying for XB360Live.

Just remember, it is always a question of perspective. I for one cant think of a sin that would not make for a good video game as long as the right technology was used - food for thought...

Why did you dig up an old thread like this? It's been almost 2 months since the last reply and your message.


Btw, I do not buy games that have monthly fees and I do not use multiplayer services that cost money. It doesn't matter how good the game is, I won't do it on principle.
