I've seen this issue come up on a variety of other forums and although I know it was cleared up in the xplay thread, I am making this explicit post to help make sure it isn't missed by new visitors:

Sins costs nothing to play on-line.

Here is the xplay segment transcript:

Morgan: "This is going to destroy lives, isn't it?"

Brad: "Yea, but you won't have to pay $15 a month for the service. (i.e. unlike MMOs)."

On-line play is free, unlimited.
Please spread the word in other forums!  And use a SINS banner :P

I vote sticky. That way, I can pay for the laptop I can't afford all that much quicker.

Oh, and FUN FACT!!!!!: Most of the intel cards in the "crappy-no-gaming" laptops I've been looking at could actually run Sins... if poorly.

Really, I always read stickies. I must be a loser. Call me crazy but I figure they are pinned because someone of importance within said community felt the thread was worthwhile for everyone to read ergo I should do so.

I guess the question is salesmanship then for the unwashed masses. Try using cute girl icons and put sexual words in the title. Those small but effective things always get people's attention. :SURPRISED:

IC should make a logo graphic and ad it to the website that clearly shows "100% Free On-line Play" text on it. It should also go into every print advertisement. Finally add it to the second printing box design.

They could also but a golden frog image in the background for trivia purposes when the company is a legend in the industry and Brad and friends are doing autobiographies -etc... One must have a clear lifetime plan in life and work to those ends. Food for thought...

a "pleb" is short for plebian, the lower-middle class citizenry of the Roman Empire, usually the city of Rome itself, i.e. the fancy term for peasent.

Oh, and just to be safe about the fee thing, we should just re-arrange the stars to "Sins is 100% free to play online!", so whenever some confused fool looks up, there is the answer!
