Hmmmmmmmm...that is odd. I've tried both viewing with SlimBrowser (browser o choice), Firefox and Aieeeeee...I only see thumbnails for a very few wallpapers. *frown* That's odd. (and also makes me look ignorant, but I swear, images are turned on. Why they only show up for a select few wallpapers is beyond me...) Feel free to ignore my comment then, if such is the case; I beg your collective pardons... <img src="http://images.stardock.com

Hello all... Please check out Link to see a seriously posed conceptual thought for drastically reducing bandwidth for WinCustomize. (I gotta cut this short, have work in the morning so I can't read all 106 posts under this article...) It's a drop in the bucket...but a drop that could save, in theory, 50-75% of the bandwidth costs on this site? I believe th
This is a weird, wild suggestion from out of the dark by an infrequent visitor to the site...don't get me wrong, I *love* the content here, I just don't get to surf as much as I'd like... There are a combination of ways to tackle this problem, and a myriad of divergences you can take to handle those combination of ways, so let's look at the main points: 1) keeping up the revenue to keep the site maintained, running, and keep bandwidth avail

T-Man: First of all, kudos to you on the nigh-Herculean effort of keeping (attempting to) us all happy. We really appreciate the work. At least I do. ;) Yes, the score I submitted was one I had originally submitted some time before: however, that score never showed up, and the resubmission was before I read this thread on the forum. Nevertheless the concern still stands as valid, as after *2* submissions the score does not show up on the high score list. If I abso

Hey all... I was playing 1.02 for the longest time via my friend's copy (which was on my PC). I finally got paid this weekend, and ran out to get my own copy instead of paying my power bill. ;) LOL When I got home and installed it, and then upgraded to 1.03, the game suddenly stopped playing music during gameplay!! It also doesn't play the intro theme anymore on booting up. (:( It plays sound effects just fine, and it plays the cutscenes/mini-movies with music just fine, but the gam
Hmmmmm...thanks for the advice, gentlemen...as c0d3 m0nk3y and you probably have guessed, I'm somewhat of a noob to this game...errrrrrrrrr...I presume if you don't "kick your ships out" into space that they are orbiting status, then? :p
Playing my first "normal" difficulty game. Pretty much down to me and the Altarians, with the Drengin as spectators. The Altarians just demanded I hand over a SB in one of their sectors, which, of course ;) I said no to. LOL So, predictably, they went to war with me. I have a 95-ship fleet right now, almost all doing "Sector Sweep". Is there a way I can change them *all* at once to "Auto-Attack", or do I have to do it painstakingly one ship at a time? There *has* to be a way...(
