Please, don't shoot me: I like it (the screenshoot). Anyway, the skin suite will be more complete, with more skinning apps, not only the Stardock apps. I not agree with paying for a skin suite. It don't matches with 'sharing will all users'. Anyway i recognize, the money will be u 'plus' for the skinner to make better skins. Where are the times of great skin suites at skinz.org, or the community projets? I don't need to say where you can obtain a good community project :sl

Ok, mnore goos news. The author communicated with me and expressed the best intentions. I allow any use of my graphics when credits are explicits and/or the uploader follows the copyright/license policies. He will post credits, and now, this case is clossed. Please, don't send-me more emails about this case, i'm noticed about it (and mr Deggy) and it is nearly solved). It finished with understanding of both parts. He can use my icons, and the iconset will have correct credits.<br

The inconset uploaded in Resexcellence is removed. I received a favorable answer from Resexcellence. Thanks to their team!
Thanks Paul. As usual, you always helps the skinners We (and personally me) feel more comfortable with friends like you. I never understand the rippers mind. >
Today, i waked up with 5 e-mails noticing about a rip of my icons. The ripper is mr Deggy, the webmaster of OSXP.NET. He uploaded a iconset called Funky, using my icons and Hein icons, in two places: -In their website, www.osxp.net , writing he (osxp) created the icons. -In Resexcellence, www.resexcellence.com , here the direct download: http://www.resexcellence.com/archive_icons_01/downloads/12-30-02_Funky1Folder.sit Actually the Noia icons are under GPL. This means eve

oh my... i'm atheist, but merry christmas, chichigirl and everybody, be good, peace
merry christmas to everybody, skinners, users, developpers, visitors, and... to Starone
Frogboy - It's right, ObjectDock seems to be the prefered dock around. Personaly, i prefer ObjectDock, and i use it daily. I voted 'OSX original dock' in Deviantart.
i don't know, i have a OS personality conflict
the '92% said they had a favorable impression of Stardock' is not realistic. Make this poll in Deviantart, and it will decrease. Make this poll in kde-look (after a description of Stardsock), and the percentage will be the contrary. It's the same case of Objectdock poll: here (wincustomize) wins ObjectDock by far, but YZdock wins by far on their own forums (yes, there's another poll about your prefered dock). I voted 'yes' to Sardock, because it's always developping the best (or are the
yes, Gollum is incredible! is not only well realized, their characterization is excellent and have a great 'role'. Really, the gollum of the film enhances the gollum of the book.
i use Linux. Suse 8.1 Professional distro. IMO Suse is the best (for newbies specially), but Mandrake rocks too. I prefer Gnome 2, but KDE 3.0 it's more extended. We need to wait at january 2003 for new releases (Gnome 2.2 and KDE 3.1) to see which is better.
Sincerely thanks, Larry. Maybe our skins are bad or good, but any skinner you mentioned (and others not mentioned) spends a lot of time making their own skins. Cooments as yours make me thing 'i'm not spending time when i make my skins, i'm just sharing them with my friends' Nice regards
loI (lots of Icons)
thanks tinkergaloot i released these icons for OSX because there's a lot of OSX users rquesting them. Unfortunately, i don't find a good program to create these icons, and they don't look correctly at some sizes (48x48, 32x32 and 16x12). Anyway, i'm happy
The correct start point are the tutorials made by others. Do you need to have a lot of imagination. The tools aren't important without imagination. It is imrecindible the patience. Make diferent designs, allways trying to be original. Make skins for diferent skin applications. When you created diverse skins, you will be ready for any skinned application, after this, you can only make greather skins with imagination. Please, don't copy the Mac and Windows designs, and try to use y
i'm a graphic designer. My actual boss is not very ambitious, and i not make great designs at work (i have no time to think what i'm designing, you know, the stress). Maybe for this reason i make my own designs at home. At january i will have a new boss (really more ambitous), and i hope this will give me more chances <img src="ht
I mean the games in general. You can use Internet Explorer daily, or Photoshop if you are a digital artist In adition, there's a lot of games, more than applications.
Phoenix: it's the fastest browser. It don't have extras like e-mail or irc clients, but there's specialized programs for these tasks If it can sow a page, i run Internet Explorer
70 states? or 70 frames? It will be better to make a complete animation using only the graphics, not making lots of configurations on files. You can use the scripting options too. It seems to be easy to make simple movements of objects. Read the information and samples inside the Desktopx folder.
yes, there's no system tray. On the Menu bar (the top bar) there's 3 icons (for sound volume, monitor settings and a clock). Different applications use this space to add menus with shorcuts to apps, or extra control panels; and some other applications use the dock (that allows animated icons to show activity, post menus, show the amount of incoming emails (as Mail, the famous mail client by Apple). Other icons show the activity with a small progress bar, as Photoshop 7 when is busy openning
