Hi Joe Pea. Please, dont request to send emails, wait your answers here. There's a zoomer for Counter-Strike here https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=3&SkinID=2057 About zoomers for games: i discontinued making zoomers for games, because these icons have a relatively short life. Sorry about this. You can try tomake your zoomers yourself, or wait for the next DesktopX version, wich will enhances the traditional icons with animations. <A HREF="https://www.win

You can also try the Vantage Browser http://www.vantagebrowser.com/english.html to check compatibility between Stardock products-Flash. This is a skinneable browser (like neowin), but it uses Flash for windows decorations (as WB).

this guy ('twist') don't have time to do their icons copy. He spend her time posting messages at forums. If it really make their copys, he is right, if he don't distribute the icons. If do you like a song (for example a Sheryl Crow song ), and you are a good music player, and you have a guitar... you can play any times you wish the Sheryl Crow song. Rou can save your results, if you wish, but not dist

My first upload in Wincustomize (and on any skinsite) was a wallpaper. It was not the best, but encouraged me to make my first zoomer. Ok, ok, the walpapers aren't allways the first works of a customizer, and.... i recognize that i never created a zoomer if i not visited the mormegil website and readed their tutorials. I guess Wincustomize is a site of Stardock products. Is a good idea to have a section for mediaplayers, but maybe only for WMP (winamp have their skin site at deskmod i gu

Yes, if the objects aren't correctly placed, they change their position at screen when you use a different screen size. The best opction is to use a 'parent object' perfectly aligned to a 'extreme' for example Tep-Left, the create the children objects. BTW, this system don't works correctly. You can use this option too: Use a script only to put the object on the correct position (use allways relative positions if the position don't will be exact, or exact XY if it will be very exact)

Really, i prefer MacOS 9 for usability and consistence between applications, but it crashes a lot, and the apps monopolizes all the CPU for simple tasks such send a file to print. Y make a lot of CMYK separations, and i have no time to wait until these separations are sended to the spooler. Actually i allways use OSX at work. On my work i allways used a Mac (i not selected the kind of computer) before the first release of WIndows95. I'm very habituated to Macs, and i like them a lot.

i have about 1200 clients, anyone with their folder and files. Any week i enter about 20 clients. Take your clock and calculate the time: making 20 new folders with rigth click/select new/selct folder, and the other option Apple+N. Wich option will be more faster. ABout Photoshop: Bakerstreet, i like the interactivity of Photoshop selecting tools (switching between tool-colorpicker and the 'hand' with spacebar) as i like the interactivity of Freehand for texts, or the options of Inde

JamMeister33, nothing about to Mac fanatics. I simply agree your afirmation: if anyone wish a Mac desktop, the best solution is to buy a real Mac Yes, i'm a Mac user, and i prefer the Aqua interface, but not exactly their dock (i minimized the zoom, to a non-disturbing size). IMO, the best of Mac desktops are the usability: Apple+N to make a new folder, Apple+I to show properties, and other feature

Styl skinner: Linux itself don't have any icon program. There's the xfree86 that runs the graphical interface. Then there's some filemanagers for managing your files visually, that can be named desktopmanagers. The most important are KDE and gNome, very similar to Windows and OSX. KDE have some tools for icons: a icon theme installer, and a icon editor. You need a graphic creation tool to create icons. GNome have similar tools. Windows have a similar tool (a icon editor), but

Ok elvee Lots of Windows users ask 'where can i find beautiful Mac wallpapers?'. And some skinners are asking 'how can i start to make my own sins/icons for Linux?'. Anyone can find the answers on these links Let me know if you need any information. Thanks! <A HREF="https://www.wincu

i don't know if win 9x is out, but is really a outmoded OS. It crashes a lot, and it's very unusable, specially if you run a 'big' application as Internet Explorer. WindowsXP don't have the success that it needs, because the vendors don't sell the new computers with it installed. Why? It's more 'economical' win98se (note: i not said winME). A small statistic: 4 friends have purchased new PC this last year, 3 with WIN98se installed (!) and without the original windows cdrom; the last, con

The DesktopX next version will have a option to use bigger icon sizes on you desktop (i think up to 128x128 sizes). If i inderstand correctly the Stardock magazine, desktopx2 (the next version) will be capable to apply animations, transitions and special effects to desktop icons. The first betas will come this fall/winter. Stay tunned at your Component Manager (if you are a OD customer) or at Wincustomize news. <img

banking transactions are very expensive (specially between different countries or between America-Europe). I understand you received a 'credit' instead of a reimborsement. This is just. In addition, the Stardock and Wincustomize employees always acted in a professional way (i say this for experience), the persons that always post messages here, and someone that never post nothing here. Don't use your rage with others, if you make a mistake (or more) <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.

JB, i assume that you are refering about DesktopX. Yes, you can make your own themes with your objects or objects made by other skinners. You will know: if you use objects created by others, you will post credits (or thanks to the other creators), or, oat least, don't say that you are the original creator. You can find a excellent tutorial about creating objects and desktopx themes at https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/docs/gettingstarted.html (the official desktopx web
