Still currently on Active duty. It has become a common saying on several ships in 5th, 6th, and 7th fleet now. Mistralok added the rest to make it a perfect fit to the game. So I guess it was a team effort.

I will throw my support in here as well. Anything that ranks me as #1 can't be all that bad. I'd like to think the Meta is what keeps folks playing long after a game would normally have run its course and been shelved for something hot off the press. I agree with most that the current Meta does not do alot to support continued playability but the AltMeta, because of the way it scores can.

It was created for a much smaller volume and wasnt intended to scale how it has been forced to. (It was originally concieved for joeuser.com) This sounds like it is a good thing. Thanks for the update.

IMO the best defense is a strong offense in this game. I have never defended planets. As for the AI. I can say at suicidal they will protect there planets with 4 to 5 strong ships. Not sure about your situatiuon with out more specifics. I suspect that there economy ond industrial production was not at a point that it could support more than a few weak ships.
