look what they did to a friend of mine... of course use any profanity you want, personal attacks are ok but never criticiise Stardock. the frriend did not do these things but got banned any way.
Note: you can google Stardock (SD) forums. so its out there for everyone ALL the time. Does stardock have a responsibility for what their site posts on the internet? Absolutely! there are legal ramifications.

Will their customers be able to hold them accountable? judging from past history most of you will chicken out, but everyone's exposed here due to SD business practices. A lawyer probably could have a subpoena issued to find out who slandered another person and Stardock would have to comply. Bullying on the internest is probably illegal and SD does little to protect its customers (see the internet link above), in fact it is an games industry thing..
Again SD forums are not private but public therefore banning folks should be for the excessive language, slander, etc. IMO not for SD not enforcing their stated policy and well deserved critiicism. if the pharmacy prescriptions with SS #'s of thousands can be held stolen you are not anonymous www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/11/07/AR2008110703434.html
Stardock (SD) doesn't
1. have unfair policies,
2. state that people arent banned when they are

I'm locking this thread as the OP keeps editing the original post
then Island Dog locked my friend out, and banned them sent a form letter about stardock being harrassed. My friend does not believe this is resolved
and isn't the edit button for editing?
3. tell untruths about schedule and then excuse themselves, "were making it better" Can customers pay them on a slipped schedule? well NO

later Zoonba says:
If a particular user is persistently causing issues, they will be dealt with, but it is not our responsibility to enforce a perfect politically correct environment. Everyone is going to be offended by something at some point.
Making an angry post and having others respond in kind, however, is not the same thing. You do not have a right to be shielded from even the slightest offense, especially when your own tone has played no small part in the tone of the resulting replies. If you expect calm and polite replies from others, then you need to post calmly and politely yourself (tip: boasting and threatening legal action are neither). That's just common sense.
my friend did not boast but suggested sending the authorities links to their internet posting was appropriate. see above: its out there anyway, you can google it. That scares SD. The government might hold them accountable for everthing on thier web site including illegal activity.
Remember smoking? It will happen. SD will not be a leader they claim to be, take the issue and get it resolved for the safety of all.

My friend is deeply melancoly about thier treatment by Stardock, hope nothing happens to them.
4. I guess the language referenced below is not a problem. only "justified" anger at people who clearly would not treat friends and family the way the treat this person anonymously on the internet. Look up the definition of Slander, which my friend points out correctly here.
look at the link; is the word F**K posted there? is my friend accused of having a "mental lobotomy" .etc. YES THAT violates what Stardock claims in the second post to be reason for banning people who post these thing. but they banned my friendafter a second post objecting toi this treament.
on http://www.neoseeker.com F**K was posted as *bleep* automatically when my friend posted there. The full word was never used but shown as what SD allows. SD has loads of programmers and this forum does not even have spell check.
well stardock is a company worth millions and my friend is an individual who is disabled and poor. Lets defend Goliath.
5. Here's an idea, how about eliminating the reasons for criticism not customers.. wow what a concept. Substance over style, wow
6. The games my friend paid for do not work or update, since impluse is forced on the customer along with the forums as a package deal. well they were paid for before impluse was implemented and the TOC's were in force.
Look at the incongruity with SD's gamer's bill of rights and the TOC's. You have no rights, only SD in the TOC's and In My Opinion (IMO) probably illegal too.
7. I realise this post will be spammed, flamed. excessivie language, violatied per SD's postings on TOC's. Now at least you Stardock fanactics can not say you weren't warned.
Stardock is no friend of customers. apparently one should not even discuss going to authorities for SD behavior and conduct.
Stardock, me thinks you protest too much! To paraphrase.
