I am having the error 123 appear when installing Sound Packager Beta. I use Bitdefender antivirus. The install does not pause to let me select "Safe Files". If i select view details in the "Safe Files" window and "ok" the setup software, the resulting action just cancels the install and removed the software. Bitdefender does not have a disable feature to turn off the protections.

Hi, I am also having the same issue as above. I am trying to download the Groupy Demo. Groupy-sd-setup.exe is unsafe to download and was blocked by Windows Defender SmartScreen. Windows 10 Pro 1709
Previously they were listed under the Not Compatible, in Object Desktop Manager. They (Décor 8, Theme Manger and Modern Mix) are now showing in the "select software to install" list.
My Object Desktop manager just did an update on start-up. It now shows Décor 8, Modern Mix and theme manager, two of which were specifically for Windows 8, now are compatible with Windows 10? They were all listed at the bottom under Not Compatible with Windows 10. Just thought I would let people know, before trying to install these under Windows 10. If its not supposed to be that way, maybe
did you upgrade to windows 10, or do a clean install? if you upgraded, did you have fences 2.13 installed on system in windows 8 before upgrading? if so, I would suggest uninstalling, running a system cleaner, and rebooting then reinstall fences 2.13 maybe that will help, upgrades of OS sometimes loose files required for operation. cheers G
have you uninstalled Cursor FX and Reinstalled it yet?, The upgrade process may have jumbled something up, if it was working in the previous OS. I never had Cursor FX installed before I did the upgrade. Fresh install after the upgrade was done of Cursor FX. Runs smoothly here.
Fences 2.0 V 2.13 is the current version and have no issues under windows 10. check your version numbers.
Hi well, then you need to pay up your subscription, standard 1yr 29.99 or /9.99 deposit and 3.99 a month for infinite (monthly) to regain access to your downloads. You can then use Object Desktop Manager to download and install them, they are then stored in your Downloads folder under Stardock. Backup the Stardock folder to another drive or burn them to DVD so you will have them next time. My object desktop manager still shows all software front he past 10 years.

When you purchased it, you had to create an Stardock account, email and password. That is called your Stardock account. The serial number will be in the email you received after purchasing CursorFX from Stardock store. Go to your Stardock account from the email and sign in, download install be happy. PS: Please uninstall the trial, and restart the computer before installing the full program from Stardock Account, The trial is not activatable. <
I am currently running CursorFx 2.11 on Windows 8.1 with absolutely no issues in the Modern Start Screen or anywhere else in the OS. Some games that have an animated cursor you do need to use "Cntrl-Shft-C" to disable it though. The trial does not have the fix included for the Modern Start Screen, which is in the Full Software package after purchasing. Just pay for the full software, its cheap on sale right now. Do You have a DVD Play Software installed on your computer? Windows 8 & 8.1 Does not have DVD player (codec) software installed anymore. DeskScapes does not include Mpeg4 (dvd) codecs . I own Nero 12, and all dreams play fine, I have not tried Dreammaker, but AzDude says he has no problems. Did you buy it from the StarDock Store? Downoad ObjectDeskTop Manager from Your Account page, it will update the software for you.

Why does the webpage say that it is not compatible with windows 8? IS this just the plain CursorFX software? I believe is not called Cursorfx Plus anymore. Have you used a previously downloaded copy of CursorFX Plus version 2.11? Download the newer version 2.11 from your Stardock accounts page (which unfortunately had the same version number as the previous copy) which fixes the start screen issues with cursors. Cheers
What version of CursorFX are you running? CursorFX Plus version 2.11works great on window 8.1 64 Bit here.
Have you tried right clicking the start button and choosing shutdown?
nbafan99, What version of windows and what version of CursorFX Plus are you running ? I have windows 8.1 and cursorfx2.11 running and they are working beautifully together. Is your windows fully updated with all patches. Also, don't use Stardock Central as it is no longer supported. You can get CursorFX Plus from your downloads page under your customer account at Stardock. You can also update right from
if you received the Product Key in your email like you said, that is what you need to activate with, that is the serial number = product Key. the email you recieved should have a link to your account with download instructions.
Hi SoundPackager has not been updated or rewritten for windows 8.0 yet (or 8.1). If you check the requirements page( https://www.stardock.com/products/soundpackager/ ) there is NO mention of Windows 8 support. It has some issues with the OS. The program as far as I know is not End of Life yet, so we may yet see an update for a this and maybe one or two other stardock apps that we are waiting for.
Have you submitted a support ticket to Stardock for there help?
