I just upgraded to Windows 10 and now I have a blank program showing on my dock. I am running the most up-to-date paid version of ObjectDock and have it set to show running applications. There is a blank space on the dock with a running indicator undeneath, but no icon. Also, it does magnify the dock, but doesn't have a label when I hover over it. I can right-click on it though, and when I go to "Settings -> Edit This Shortcut" It shows it linked to "C:\WINDOWS\sy

I've tried everything I know (which isn't a lot) to add the Windows Store to my dock. I can add a shortcut, but all it does is try to open the store in my browser, but doesn't get past the green w/ white store logo. Anyone know how to make this work?
Are you by any chance opening and closing the startmenu rapidly? Also does it happen if you have the taskbar at the bottom of the screen?
I will post my system specs when I get home.... No, not opening it rapidly... Just clicking the button with my mouse, or pressing the windows key on the keyboard. Then just leaving it open, without doing anything else, i can watch it flicker somewhat regularly. </
I keep getting a flicker when using the Windows 7 style for Start8. The bottom half of the right-side items disappear then reappear in a quick top-to-bottom fashion. It seems to happen about once every second or so. It also occasionally stretches almost to the bottom of the screen (I have my taskbar at the top). I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice. Any help would be much appreciated. Here is a pic showing the 3 differen
I have also noticed that the "folder view" tabs do not work well at all. I have had to do a restart four separate times while trying to set these up. I have had issues with "folder view" tabs also, including having to quit OD several times. In addition, I have had issues with the background color of the folder tab. I had another tabbed dock (not folder view) that had a black background. Even though I changed that dock to a default t
Just one thing I've noticed right off.... The "Show Applications" mode works great, but only if its a 32 bit application. I tried multiple 64bit programs such as: Photoshop CS5, Abobe Lightroom, Intrernet Explorer, Windows Media Player, & WinRAR. None of them show on the dock. Only if I run the 32 bit versions, then they show on the dock... Also, if I place a shortcut to a 64 bit program on the dock, it does not show a running
also my fences don't fade away like they did on my Vista(32) computer. can you describe this a bit more? What specifically are you referring to?
I figured this out... I chose "Exclude this fence from quickhide" when I should have chosen "Exclude This Icon from Quickhide" for each of the icons I want to show all the time. So that is why I thought the fence didn't fade away.... My mistake
[Request] I use Adobe Bridge as a file browser. I just learned that if you drag a folder onto the Bridge icon (on your desktop) that folder will open in Bridge. I have seen Mac OS-X users do this very same thing by dragging a folder onto their Bridge dock icon, and Bridge opens to that folder. Also, I've seen them drag .psd's to the Photoshop icon, and they can open the file that way. It would be really nice to have this func
I just noticed something very interesting. I have my tabbed dock set as a drawer right on top of my taskbar. When I hover over the taskbar in a spot where an icon would be (if the dock had been brought up), I'm seeing the label for the icon. You can't see it, but my mouse cursor was just to the right of the selected taskbar button, underneath the Tools tab.
I noticed this effect also. I am running W
I just got a new computer with Windows 7 Professional 64. I am having this issue of icons falling out, and also my fences don't fade away like they did on my Vista(32) computer. Both are minor, but still annoying issues. [e digicons]:([/e]
No, no previous versions of Deskscapes is installed
Not using any dream, just having Deskscapes installed causes it. I have Vista Ultimate, so I can still use Dreams with DreamScene. And I know certain dreams are somewhat CPU taxing. But not like the problem I have with Deskscapes 3. I wanted to install Deskscapes 3 because it has more advanced features that DreamScene. At first I wasn't sure what was causing it, so I installed MS Process Explorer to find out. PE said it was explorer.exe boggin
I have Vista Ultimate and a few weeks ago, I tried installing Deskscapes 3 beta (not sure what version #). After rebooting explorer was hogging 60-100% of the CPU. I uninstalled and thought it was a bug that would be worked out in the final release. But I installed 3.0 last night and its doing the same thing. Any advice?

Maybe I'm confused... Impulse is available to OD subscribers now? I can't seem to find where to download it. I don't see any links from here, and I can't find it in Stardock Central.
There not adding an Ultimate Edition, that is what we have now. They are increasing the price and adding a cheaper version. Current users Upgraded???? Renamed you mean. All I see in my future is a price increase. I take that back, mycolors is added and StyleVista will be added, far as I am concerned I rather see it stay the way it is now, and have those two new additions be considered Ultimate.
I totally agree... Right now the price to upgrade is $34.95 I
OK, Thanks. BTW, is there somewhere I can see a preview pic of these skins?
Over on the Subscriber Resources page,
Since I am not a subscriber, I cannot view that page. I just wanted to know If I get to 'pick 2' from the "Premium Suites" that are in shown in the Wincustomize Store? Or are they completely different premium skins?
In the Wincustomize Subscription Information page, it says a subscription comes with: " • Premium Skin Suites. WinCustomize offers two premium suites." Do you get to pick the 2 you want, or are they picked for you? Thanks
Once you install the new DreamScene update, you have to reboot, and check for updates again. You will see them listed.
Thanks Island Dog.... I did reboot last night, but the weren't showing.... But when I just checked again, they were. Go figure... I got 'em now, so I'm happy
you can find all the dreams you want jeff in the "dreams" section of the site.
Were is this "dreams" section of the site? I've looked all over the Windows Vista Ultimate site and can't find "dreams" I already have DeskScapes.... I'm trying to find the NEW Windows Dreams he talks about in the article. Thanks for any help
Thanks Zoomba, I tink I just had a "Duh!" moment. LOL My next question is where are these 'new animated DreamScene desktops, including “Aurora”' that Barry refers to in the article? Or are these just the ones that were released back in March for the 'Preview Version'?
I'm confused..... I cant find a new version of DreamScene anywhere. My computer says the last time Dreamscene updated was on 3/14/2007. And, Windows Update says there are no new Ultimate Extras to download. Can somebody tell me what's up with this?
Looks Great!!!! But can you still play games on it???
