Actually, I've read studies similar to this before in other studies about the brain. (Not on studies about politics.) I don't remember the title of the book. But I'll see if I can find it. As I recall the book said that we rationalize what we feel and think that we are rational when in fact we based our decisions on emotions rather than reasons.

You have a point, Joe, I don't think that Bush is a racist. As long as you have money, Bush is your man. I think that Democrats do exploit minorities, because once they are in office they do nothing about issues pertinent to minorities.
