Apocalypse67 never posted a single thread on his behalf about his departure. True true. And we don't recall one post he made on DA that was ugly towards WC... He left gracefully of his own accord and still got his name dragged through the mud via an innocuous initial posting by a fellow artist which turned lethal and is not cool.
#63 by Jafo - 7/28/2003 10:57:23 PM -might I suggest maintaining a tight grip upon your short and curlies before they are....no more..... Short and curlies? MWAH HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA <img src="http://images.
It would be cool to walk into a virtual world and meet and shake their hands and see their body gestures in a virtual sense...maybe even eyeblinks and hand movements...but that would mean "strapping on a few things" in order to accomplish that ie some sort of electronic sensor that detect movement and then process it through the puter and stuff. Much like some of the high end animating is done for movies when actors do certain things that are then used as input into a high tech graphics applicat

#54 by China - 7/28/2003 10:41:40 PM Oh, Now I'm a journeyman that's never contributed anyting but smartass remarks. Yeah, That's me! WOOF! don't stop now
Sorry Jafo...just thought the initial message was a good thought.
Cross1492 that's because they are lowering their moderations standards so people don't freak out and start "why me?" threads. So if you have a "1" that prolly means that if Frogboy hadn't given the A_OK to lower the recent standards then it would have never gotten in.
#37 by Citizen anthony roberts - 7/28/2003 9:56:55 PM Just think this all began with Frogboy making a basic comment “I don’t care if we have a wallpaper section” …. It was really just a harmless post, he never said he was doing away with it just that he didn’t care about it…maybe the lets be clear stuff got a few people wrinkled… It is like the guy is going to need speechwriters like the president to go over every word making sure there is no loaded terms or anything that can be remotely c
"What happened? we should have had hologram movies by now with 3-D virtual reality where you're IN the movie...." Dang...that woulda kicked major butt too!
DK So true too... Remember all them old time movies of what the *future* would be like by now? haha! Whatta load of crap! The day we reach "Jetsons" status is the true future.
PEOPLE CAN GET ALONG!

Now THATS why I feel the need to take 4 ibuprofen tablets after finishing my 2-1/2hr long Mechwarrior 3 'crusade' at 11:00pm by EventHorizon Nintendo once came out with a 3-d thing..can't even remember it now but we were suckers and bought it and it ended up in the garbage...man that thin was so lame. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jokegrim.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid

by China - 7/28/2003 8:07:03 PM My girls begged me for days to take them to see "Spy Kids 3-D" Sooo I, caved and took them..I should have known better. Now I have this Massive Headache! Why in the history of 3-D movie making, can they not make one that won't make your head pound after? 3-D movies are hard to sit through...they last way too long. It's one thing to go to Universal Studios and sit thru a 20 or 30 minute 3-D amusement thing but to sit through 1.30 or 2 hours of 3-D c
#28 by Jafo - 7/28/2003 8:46:36 PM e-bros...it's winter here in Oz...Ice-cream ain't too thrillin' when it's cold....now if you'd said 'mulled wine'.... Mulled wine with a cinnamon stick garnish it is <img src="ht

Ut oh... -Wonder what the stats are on how many bodies have been buried in basements...seems there's always a news story about somebody burying someone in their basement...ICK <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.
#8 by China - 7/28/2003 8:23:46 PM When I was a kid I loved going down in my Grandparents basement. I'd find all kinds of treasures, Old eyeglasses, Pictures, Counterfeit money. ect... COUNTERFEIT MONEY You sayin' your grandparents were outlaws in the olden daze Chinaaaaaaaaa cat?
#24 by Messy Buu - 7/28/2003 7:47:28 PM I'm not saying that Frogboy didn't have the right to mention them by name, but it does have potential to add fuel to the fire MessBuu, Frogboy did nothing wrong in showing evidence that was contrary to the opinion’s of aforementioned disgruntled artists…Especially since they were the very ones thumping their chests about DeviantArt and there departure to a supposedly “better” place so they MUST have expected that SOMEONE was going
A lot of folks turn their basements into recreational rooms for their kids or the "bar" for Dad or a pool/gaming room etc. or the room for the College aged kids and stuff.
#1 by Sir Hus - 7/28/2003 7:38:39 PM You don't wanna know.. /me are imagining Hus with a mad-scientist kit bubbling and smoking and percolating now! We have only a crawlspace but the original floorplan was for a daylight basement but it was built to not have a basement. Anyone wealthy enough here to have an indoor pool? I wonder if anyone has ever put an indoor pool in their basement
