As much as I would have liked for Winstep's Nexus to work for me, on my system, it was very buggy and crashed allot. I really really HOPE that Stardock gets off of their cans and either updates Object Dock to work on newer OS' installations or build a new type of an app + docking system. They must know there are allot of us out here that really need and want this sort of software for our systems.

About ready to give up on this. I like allot of the Stardock scripts but Windowblinds is not working very well. The main issue I'm having is that when I applied some different looks (nothing special, just double clicked the new look and let it apply default of that skin) and when I opened up a folder to see how it all looked the background is black, the folders are transparent and the text is totally unreadable. Hi, Vue, a 3D program, 64 bit version, a shortcut was created in a folder. that folder's short cut is on the Object Dock bar and set to "Show Folder In Menu" so I get my shortcuts sliding up to choose from. When I click on the Vue icon I get an error that there is no such path but it keeps telling me it's looking in the frigging X85 Program Folders area. Well in all fairness this is Object Dock and this is the Object Dock forum, correct?? I don't have a screen shot, sorry, I unloaded that dock and am using a "Q-Launch" pop up folder added as a toolbar on the taskbar for the time being. I should have taken a screen grab when I had the opportunity but I was so frustrated that I just unloaded, actually killed, that one dock. Perhaps the code monkeys are waiting for Windows 7 release before proceeding. I beta tested Win 7 a bit and it's a hell of a lot better than Vista in so many ways. It is a PITA to have to keep the task bar visible to have one start menu available but then again, I didn't like RocketDock for some reason. It did something to the system (but I can't remember what it was at the moment) that was not cool.
I've got the full version and this can't be done. Sorry, wish I could be more helpful and yea, that should be an option considering how small the clock is by default. You can increase the size of the clock but all the other icons will be increased in size, if that helps. Just right click and choose "Dock Settings" and then "Appearance" You will see the sliders that will allow you to resize things, choose backgrounds and all that. Have fun! [e digicons]:D[

Hiya, I recently had a fatal crash resulting in my needing to reload the system. I've just about got it all done (need to get ZBrush installed again which is royal PITA with all the hoops you have to jump through to get it initialized! [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] ) anyway's ..... OMG, I about started a new thread, glad I checked here first. I'm running Vista Home Premium, 64 bit and same thing. I was so excited to finally get to use Windowblinds on Vista as I've been running XP Pro for years and years. So I finally get a new rig (quad core, 8 gigs of DDRII RAM and high end graphics card to do my 3D stuff with and thought... "hmmm, Windowsblinds might be fun at ths point"... yea... real fun. Hiya, I am running, happily, Object Dock Plus, version 1.90 (Build 537u). It's labeled as a beta and is OLD, as in last year old. I was told in the chat room there are other updates but they were gotten through Impulse. I can't get Impulse as when I try to have it download it's needed files all I get are connection errors! :( I've tried turning off the firewall and all the above but it just keeps giving me the same error that it can't retrieve the needed file

Hiya, I really like the object bar these days but I'm finding that I don't like the skin. It's the default Vista skin and it's rather droll. I tried using the Skin program to change it to something I like better but I messed it up. The skin is the right color but the Widgets like the Search, Weather and other are no longer the right size and I didn't match their recoloring perfectly so I have this mess here. Now the C:/ drive icon is one of those generic icons when the system doesn't have one to assign to it. Hi all, OK, ever since I loaded up this cool suite (WindowBlinds, the full on version) I have managed to get loaded what I think is the best for my needs.
