In my current game, I actually am researching most everything by myself. I'm playing a large map with everyone set to intelligent. I have a significant lead in tech over everyone, but the Drengin are close behind. Anyway, I am using the dead end techs to trade with the minor civs and turning it into a cash cow. I have quite a number of deals for 200 BCs for 36 months. My treasury is approaching 200,000 BCs which I plan to use as a war chest when I go in for the kill. I haven't yet

Just a newbie question. In what year do you folks finish most of your games? I'm only a year or so into my very first game at small/cakewalk (learning) level, and I'm just curious. Thanks. Great game, so far!
OK. Looks like I'm good to go. I plan to read through the manual tonight, although I think I've got a good feel for the game from reading this forum over the past few days. One last, initial, question. How do I know that I have the latest upgrades? Go easy on me. I'm almost 50 and all of this doesn't come automatically to me. This is the first game I've tried to stay current with. IOW, I liked Civ 3 with it's faults, and didn't apply the patches. I'm ready to keep up with this g

OK. I just got this game from Amazon. When I try to install it, it says enter the serial #. What serial #????? I may have made a mistake in sequencing. I created a stardock account and activated it. I downloaded the current stardock. After trying to install the game, I trashed the stardock download, but I still can't install the game. Where do I find the serial #?
