Issue? Feature? Found in Beta The number of Days to Complete changes when I view a planned build, to when I click Build and then changes again when I add something in Queue beneath it (Estimated time of completion continues to get less). In other words I am getting feedback that I will complete a project faster if put something in queue underneath. My Contractor on the new project for Xeno Farming: " That will take 20 weeks"

AI Planet usage needs to improve. I have invaded many planets and the AI will have built something on the gems of bonuses not related to those bonuses. They will have a farm in a normal square but Orbital Fleet Control built in a Farm bonus square. Makes no sense, then under my new ownership, I need to demolish and build to gain the bonus.

Approval Rating for a planet I thumped. I invade a planet. Its approval rating is 70%. I use informational warfare and gain some additional troops on my side. I lose the battle. (I still believe that all the high attack numbers on my landings are a tease. I will see it flash thru attack values for my troops in the 40's but I always hit attack when the number is 20ish. (Of course I am kidding here, because I have received high attack values but only when I don't need

My idea may have been stated before, but here is my take. I agree with a lot of posts that request a way to measure a starting position, but I want to add to this idea. My theory is the David vs Goliath idea. If Goliath had won, here is the after fight interview: Reporter: So Goliath you defeated David, what lead to your victory today? Goliath: (yawn...) This little scrawny guy wanted a fight so I gave it to him. He tried to sling a rock at me but

Attack their strongest system. The benfit of being human is you can plan and place a devestating force consolidated at one point of attack. I would prefer to capture the system versus destroying it with a terror star. 1. Protect your border star bases with capital ships. 2. Form a fleet of combat transports and capital ships at one of your planets near the point of attack. 3. After fleet is large enough start moving it toawards the target system. They may detect you coming

Awards could be given to different types of victories... Hishest Alliance win Highest Cultural win Highest Conquest win and Highest Tech win This would level the playing field on the whole point disparity. Or in the set up of the game declare what type of victory must be achieved.

A Terror star loaded with Cultural improvements can also be effective in "culture bombing" an "enemy" civ. Move the terror star into another civ's sector, add a good dose of destabilization and watch the planets decide they need to be part of your Empire without firing a shot. The only draw back is that the alien race may demand the terror star or declare war... so be prepared, and guard your terror star.

I use scouts as a "road" blocking force early in the expansion game to slow down enemy colony ships heading for a juicy planet, I am also heading for, but maybe a few spaces behind. 2 or more can get in the way...

I play random. I put eight numbers in a hat and draw one to determine my government party. I set all abilities to zero. I put 24 numbers in a hat and draw. There are 24 abilities, I count down the list and select the "random" ability. For level of that ability, I draw again from the 24, and compare to the small table. If there is only one choice of level i take that one. 2 choices: 1-16 lowest level (1) 17-24 highest (2) 3 choices 1-12 (1)

I was in a tight spot already, but then... I received a message (paraphrasing) in last nights game that the Arceans just discovered a resource that would allow the empire to grow beyond belief. The message said that I must act now against the Arceans or lose. I am the weakest Major civ in this Painful 1.03 game, the Arceans are 5th. Two turns later, the Drengin, the most powerful empire, deeclare war on me. I am holding my own with the help of a few friends (actually the Arceans are

I agree with vampiere, Alien starbases should not be fogged. My Economy brings in billions of credits, I am sure I can afford an admin assistant that writes down the coordinates of a star base that does not move (at least not till later). "Hey Angelina, I just received word from the survey ship 'USS Hero' that one of our future enemies has built a starbase near a military resource at coordinates xxx, yyy, we may want to remember that some day, can you write it down?..." ;)
