Tango Yankee Sir Bichur--as we continue to wait now on Stardock Tech Support to respond to our response to them...dated the 3rd. Today is the 6th.

No, neither seem to be any help.
Good Day Sir Bichur! You need to work for Stardock because the last issue we had a month or so ago was never answered by Stardock Support. Secondly, you should be in charge of WinCustomize because I have not seen any employee from WinCustomize/Stardock who post on this site help anyone. The paid version [http://dl.stardock.com/activate/dl.aspx?m=1&v=1&a1=86A236CC79BA6546BAF55E3A]causes the OS to crash; (windows explorer has encountered a pr
Anyone having difficulty with the newest version of IconX that you download and put in your serial number? When clicking on the IconX icon the Windows Explorer needs to close. Interesting though, the trial version works without any problem. Noticed that this gentleman stephenlivingstone01 has been waiting since September 10th for someone from Stardock, or another, to resolve his issue of which may, or may not, be the same we have experienc
Interesting... The trial version works without any problem. The registered current version causes the OS to crash.
We see Sir Bichur is attempting to help. From our end, same problem. In fact, we removed totally all Stardock programs and re-installed...still IconX does not respond as it should.

Thanks Sir Birchur!
This is really turning out to be quite the party a(?!) One day I am going to figure out just how you get those little yellow folks downloaded.
OMG does this look like a puzzle now!
How about you? do you get both icons in the systray? Sorry so late! Yes, Sir Bichur, I do have the IconX in the tray as well, but only if I have engaged that.
Good to hear from you! I don't understand why these monitors from WC who also work at Stardock (at least one I believe) are not responding. The crux of the problem is that once updates have been downloaded using SDC that is when the problem starts; unless of course "it" (The Tab) is not suppose to be included any longer. No response from Stardock Support as of yet. Seems as though something is eating this IconX tab! (hehehe <img src="http://images.

Wow! Your nickname is interesting>Stockholm Syndrome We'll see what happens Sir Bichur.
Well, imagine that!
O.K.,....but it is too late to change the title now...yes? I should post a new? The folks at WC sometimes get "excited" if you post duplicate, or post in a spot you think is correct, but not correct to their standards. Advise.
That's probably gonna take me a while since I'm slow and I will have to remember I know the feeling. I just E-Mailed Stardock a transcript. Not sure what you are saying in 1). No rush, not life-threaten
Well Sir Bichur, it is clear that after updating via SDC the IconX "Tab" has decided to leave the group! I downloaded DesktopX, installed using the serial number and rebooted. I then downloaded IconX, installed using the serial number and rebooted. In both the DesktopX Builder - Settings and DesktopX - Settings the IconX "Tab" appeared. I did as you recommended and closed DesktopX; IconX of course followed on its own. I downloaded via SDC DesktopX
hmm.... when you update thru SDC, do you still have stuff running? Yes. When you uninstall/reinstall it a clean reinstall - remove all traces 1st? <
As we all know, we can download DesktopX and IconX and install using our serial numbers. Updates can be had using Stardock Central. We are having difficulty in keeping the IconX "Tab" included within DesktopX Settings along with the Welcome "Tab", Desktop "Tab", and Preferences "Tab". The difficulty starts when we update using Stardock Central. After a while one becomes exhausted in uninstalling and reinstalling in attempt to get this little guy (I
Clearly, the majority of members and visitors have chosen not to take a few minutes of their time and make comment "freely" on this titled-thread, regardless of your set-limitation (sympathy only), or otherwise. For the record, my original comment #9 was not intended to use Frogboy's thread as "a stage for political grand-standing". More people than not express--"Why is this happening?", "Why are they (labeled terrorists) doing this to us?"
...not really an appropriate thread for such... Interesting!
