It hasn't happened the last several months of my current game. If/When it does again, I'll send you a save file. Which file is that?

Upper right corner of what to look for the red icon? I'm familiar with the red spaceship icon that appears directly above stacked ships. This doesn't seem to be the case here.
When I attack a pirate fleet and destroy it, it's still there. It sometimes takes multiple tries to destroy the same pirate fleet. Why is this? TIA.
Thanks! That worked like a charm.
I attempted to load GalCiv4 Supernova from Steam today, and apparently Version 2.2 has been applied. The game no longer functions for me. It loads all the way up to creating or opening a galaxy, and then freezes. I have to end the process with Task Manager. During bootup, it produces the following error message. Suggestions welcome. ---- C:\Users\kritz\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Mods\OS Gr
That helps, too. Thanks!
Thanks. This helps, but falls short of an "alignment" function. I have several fences but I cannot get them to align on any of the four sides.
Is there any way to modify the way fences 1) snap to each other while moving? or 2) any way to align fences on any of their four sides? Mouse movements are imprecise, and my windows are more raggedly spaced than I consider appropriate. Thanks!
When I navigate to my account using the link you provided and my existing password, it shows no orders. However, I recently ordered (and paid for) the Intrigue expansion for GalCiv III. I have the product key, but when I go to download it, I get an error message directing me back to Stardock. So far I can't find anything in this forum or elsewhere that discusses this type of download failure.
I just purchased the "Intrigue" DLC, but when I go to download it, I get a screen with an errormessage referring me back to Stardock. Stardock refers me to a variety of resources (including this forum) which so far hasn't revealed diddly-squat. Recommendations? Thanks.
I have GalCiv3 loaded on my Surface Pro tablet running Windows 8.1. GalCiv doesn't seem to respond to any touch input. Is there any way to enable that? I'm going traveling shortly and really wanted to have GalCiv along to while away the deadly hours on planes.
Thanks. Thulium does the trick. Not sure why the Survey mode didn't become available right after I got the tech, but no matter.
I have Interstellar Survey but can't build any survey ships. My one survey ship (from game start) is busy helping my fleet kill pirates. What minimum tech do I need to be able to build survey ships? Or is it a magical mineral thing, because so far I've only found Durantium, Thulium, and Elerium? TIA
Where is Supportive Population? I can't seem to find it. ON EDIT: Never mind -- just found the search function.
I've seen references in the online tutorial and elsewhere about changing the viewing angle, both in the battle screen and in the map view. However, I can't find any controls that actually work. I think I heard the narrator on one of the YouTube videos say something about "the middle button" on the mouse controlling camera views, but I haven't seen a three-button mouse in years -- the middle position is generally taken up by the scroll wheel. What am I missing here?
Found it. Thanks! Is it just me (not having played GalCiv I or II), or is the documentation on basic gameplay a tad skimpy? Particularly given how complex the interface is?
OK, so I sent my seriously damaged survey vessel (the only survey vessel I've got at present) to one of my shipyards, and now the shipyard reports that it's being defended by one ship. However, I can't see the ship to either determine its status or to move it out of the shipyard -- the only evidence of its existence is that report from the shipyard. How do I get my ship back?
I haven't found reference in the FAQ, the manual, or the forums: How do you repair ships?
In the Ship Designer, upper right corner, there's something labelled "Design Details," with three colored icons and a value (set to zero) next to each icon. What the heck is this?
