I want to be an airplane pilot. But it costs a bunch of money to take pilot classes, rent the planet, and more. Would it be okay if I just borrowed a plane and kidknapped a pilot since I can't afford to do so legitimately?
I just downloaded WinAmp 3 and went to the WinAmp section and saw there is a WinAmp 3 sub category. Lo and behold NO WINAMP 3 SKINS!!! Why aren't people making WinAmp 3 skins?

'cept that one characterization is fairly accurate and the other ain't. I've read the epic and on one side you have people who don't think stealing is okay being called stardock plants and the other side mainly people who think stealing stuff is a-okay. Plus you have all these teens who BOUGHT a copy of Windows XP? I think not. I'm on Win2k and WinME and I'll be there for a long while.

I won't be moving to xp any time soon so it don't matter. I don't know anyone whose buying a copy of XP. I'll get XP when I buy a new computer in few years.
FB, god bless you but you know what your #1 problem is? Ya just over think things. Just use common sense. If some newbie comes on and starts shootin his mouth off about how cruddy WindowBlinds or some other popular skin app is, zap them. For christ's sake, this is a skin site. Only a troll logs onto a skin site and the first thing they do is trash one of the most popular programs in skinning. You need to take a vacation FB. pah. I've lost so much money in the stock market this year I think my biggest mistake had to be not selling some of it earlier.

Doreen posted. FB responded with an exhaustingly long explanation that seemed reasonable to me. Whats the reverse? if you don't agree with Doreen and you you're causing a war? What constructive changes should happen? Spoofs everywhere taking pot shots at each other? Its pretty silly that anyone would argue the posting rights of a spoofer.
So why aren't you at another site bugging them?

Just skimming this thread, jesus its long, the answer 'no we're not gonna change the mission statement' comes through several times. fb doesn't agree with your interpretation. End of story.
Don't they delete bad skins, wallpaper and other stuff all the time? How is this any different?

Does anybody have a short strong list of reasons why someobdy like me using Win2K should upgrade to XP?

/me thinks SickPuppy has poor reading comprehension skills. Did fb say anyone donwloading 50 megs of skins is a pirate? no. /me loves how stardock gets compared to Microsoft because it won't put up a hoverdesk section when hoverdesk doesn't have a desktopx section on its site. The double standards are funny.
You just can't do anythign with a pocketpc that youc an do a real PC. You can't do 3D Studio max on it, you can't do photoshop and some cute paint program on the pocketpc doesn't count. You can't do CAD. You can't doa whole range are things because either the hardware isn't up to it or the software doesn't exist. I prefer my iPaq to my Palm V but let's not get delusional.
So do you and a group of 'key users' decide what these definitions are? Skinz.org was a for profit site. I guess skinz.og wasn't a community site.

I'm confused. If stardock sat by and did what most of these programs here do, the precious 'community' would be f*cked. stardock would just link to Deviantart and the others and they would have to handle the traffic this place gets. But if they did nothing nobody would bitch because it's the same as what the others do. But because they help you gots people bitching because it's not enough. Hey stardock your bending over nicely, bend over a little more now. No good deed goes unpunished.
