I for my part think this major bug should be taken out. As it might be nice to create a huge planet once, it does hurt the game. Also think about the metaverse score of anyone deciding to create a 100 PQ100+ size planets. I hope nobody will do this since it might drastically offset any scoring, plus it will absolutely spoil the fun on the game, besides it will also waste a lot of time for the player. Btw I think the most fun is still to beat the AI without using any cheats whatsoever. :)

Constructors are the predominant military units produced in the middle to end games, at least in my games. They do not cost any maintenance, build and upgrade starbases and produce some nice toys, like Terror stars. How about an alternative? Building colony ships. Why? They are cheap, they also do not cost maintenance, and sometimes help in morale issues. But their real purpose has been overlooked, creating gigantic 100+ size planets. It works the following; you take your best planet, pr
I have seen trading in the diplomatic screen does not help much. The only gift that really seems to have an affect are ships when the recieving civilization is loosing a war. Like in the last game I was at war with the Altarians for about 1-2 years, then the Drengin attacked the Altarians too and started to conquer some of their territory. I made peace with the Altarians, in the next turn I got a request to help them, so I gave them a Dreadnougth and surprisingly the turn after that I got a requ
I normally don't waste money on moral-social improvements on higher class planets, so I just let them grow until their moral drops beneath 50, then they stop growing, easy and saves money :)
If you are still part of the UP, then it should meet every 4 years or 48 turns.
The ship is out of range. Just auto-send(right mouse click) it to an area inside your range( blue frame on the star map).
I succeeded quite a few times in a 'Blitz' kind of war against the major races. I normally set spending and research to 100%, then rush to Impulse Drive, which gives transports. Then I set military production to 100% and produce 1-2 or how many transports and send them on their way, after that back to 100% research straight to phasers and back to production to produce star fighters. I took quite a few times the Yor and Alterian out this way, within the first year. Minor races are a bit tric
