Search programs not working in Start8 Stardock Forums

I've been using Start8 for some time now and I recently uninstalled and re-installed it. After the reinstall, Start 8 on windows 8.1 doesn't seem to search for programs when I type a program name in the "Search Programs and Files" field under the Start button. I know the program is installed and if I go out to the Metro start screen and use the search field out there, it finds the program. It seems there must be a setting or something that is preventing Start 8 fro
