Hi. In windows 10 and up the file search box located in upper right corner of file explorer doesn't work normally anymore. There is no normal way to search for a file by date, time, month, file extension etc as it used to work in windows 7, 8.1 and early builds windows 10. It DOESN'T WORK. Help desks still contain articles how to use it but it doesn't work. I have an idea for a new Stardock software that would replace or make a search field in file explorer to work as it used to do in

If you want your system boot really fast you need UEFI bios onboard of both motherboard and videocard and Windows 8 or later. It enables the fast boot function. With SSD it takes a just few seconds to boot from hitting the power button to a fully loaded desktop. I got samsung 860 evo SSD in M2 form factor and my OS boots almost instantly. I was shocked to freeze first time I saw this function working. I had to wait for about 2 minutes to boot and wait for all autorun p
Yes exclude list solves the problem. Previous time I tryed that it didn't work so after I've got your message I have changed tactics. I have added all uplay executables to exclude list but it didn't work again. Then I toggled WindowFX on/off switch for a few times and it finally worked out. Now uplay doesn't use any of windowFX effects and there's no issue with window graphics. So I get this is the only working solution available. I've got some other very similar gamestore cli
Thank you so much!
I found a very annoying bug in WindowFX 6.03 It seems to have incompatibility issues with Uplay client. Any time Uplay window is moved or resized the whole space within window rectangle disappears and becomes filled with blank white. To fix this I have to close it with Ctrl-F4 and restart client. When WindowFX is disabled this bug never shows up. It seems to be a problem with Uplay only because I never seen anything like that with any other app. I got both Upla
Hi. I've installed the last version but it still doesn't sinc "darken" effect around active window with window transition effect speeds. When you minimize window for example this darken effect disappears, and this happens instantly like a slap. It should disappear smoothly too. There is even no such an option to adjust or turn it on in settings menus. I'm slightly disappointed. Such graphics behaviour looks very unaesthetic. Will you fix it please?
Hi developers. I've installed the last version but it still doesn't sinc "background fading" with transition effect speeds. When you minimize window or do something else fade disappears, and this happens instantly like a slap. There is even no such an option to adjust or turn it on mentioned in settings menus. I'm slightly disappointed. Such graphics behaviour looks very unaesthetic. Will you fix it please?
As an experimental option it would be interesting to try it out anyway
I've found a bug with mentioned mode enabled when running Adobe InDesign CS6 on my machine. When it appears on background (unfocused windows) it gets darkened as intended, but it constantly experiences chaotic flickering light/dark untill I switch it active (or closed dialog window, popup message etc). I've got Windows 8 pro x64 and radeon hd6850 videocard with latest catalyst driver pack installed (13.3)
Is it some kind of microsoft windows limitations?
Is it possible to add window resize animation feature to windowFX? Both default windows maximize and unmaximize actions and corner drag resize animation would be great to see as well
when i click left bottom corner from inside of some win8 fullscreen application of new windows 8 environment to switch to windows 8 start screen everything drops to desktop view with opened start8 menu (and start8 button is pressed). It shouldn't be so when I'm working with non-desktop environment applications. Left-bottom magic corner click should work as intended without start8 interference. Configuration of start8 doesn't contain anything related I've checked out al
