welllll interestingly enough it must have been a mod file because i disabled the load mod options annnd it works after update i dont know why i just didnt do this to begin with, thanks for your help though haha
i just updated the game and it does the same thing, and i dont have any mods im using its just enabled because i was going to use a mod i got that didnt work anyway and everytime i go into the menu to change settings i have to exit the game completely because if i try to return to the main menu my game crashes, this was happening before i loaded mods as well, i thought some of the tricks may have helped and i went out and got the mod b4 testing if the game even ran, optamistic i guess, e
