Purchased early versions in Gamestop now want to buy them from steam? in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Hi, I do not live in the USA. Gamestop has now said that their SINS purchases are for US Downloads only. Does that mean I cannot download or play the game if I purchase it through them? I had bought the first 3 versions of SOASE through stardock that then became Gamestop. If I buy through Steam instead will it recognize my other purchases and will the games interact properly with each other?

I am having the same problem. Impulse, instead of spending all your time making stupid movies on impulse tv FIX the bugs in the application. I only bought your games because of the features of the impulse client...I am very disillousioned, would rather give my money to steam or some other competitor.

Game Performance in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Hi. I was just wondering if it is normal for SOASE to get really stuttery in an 7 AI-1 human match. My fleet is pretty large (spammed the carriers)...and I have about 8 caps as well. What is happening is that on the strategic view everything is hunky dory, but then when i zoom in to planet level it stutters...ships move jerkily, and even the sound is shaky. In my opinion this shouldn't be happening becuase I'm rocking an AMD Athlon X2 (3.0GHZ), a ATI Radeon 3870 (dedicated 512 MB VRAM

Hi; I've been looking at many comments made by players about general strategies. I have continuously tried to adapt my tactics from turtling,but when I do that; I can last three rounds against the AI, and then he brings in bombers and capitals and creams me in seconds (yes my starbase gets P*wned...and then when I tried offensively expanding my colonies, I either run out of resources battling it out with the pirates on every world or over extend myself leaving me vulnerable at multiple points

I reinstalled direct X. Now I get a different set of errors, something about an fmod.dll. Anyways; I'm going to uninstall SOASE; purge it from the computer manually in application data and program files; and then install a fresh one, and see what happens. This time; I hope it works, lol.

Okay; it worked once...and then today when I tried to run entrenchment I got an error message that says: 'Unable to Locate Component:- The application has failed to start because d3dx9_36.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.' I uninstalled, and this re-downloaded it; but it happened again. Would anybody be able to help me on this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I finally purchased my very own copy of solar empire. I'm very excited to use it...but; the computer I downloaded it on is not my gaming computer. If my gaming computer is not connected to the internet (all the way upstairs, and the internet cable doesn't do thirty feet :P), can I transfer my game over to the gaming computer in some way (like usb)? One one of my other posts, a person suggested impules archive...what is that? Could someone please explain the process so I can start my plans

Buying for myself on a second computer? in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Hi. I have two computers. One is my laptop, and the other is the gaming desktop in my room. I have decided to buy the game; but before I do, I'd like to know if I can download the game onto my laptop, put it on a usb; and move it onto my gaming desktop. Also, can I do the same thing for any updates/mods? Thank you for your help.
