I brought my laptopto a firends house, and had bought him SoaSE, and we sat down and after installing it went to play multiplayer. He saw my game hosted and we both started playing, it was awesome. But after a while, he was like, "oh! Your main planet! i'll help you", and my main planet was fine. After looking at his screen, I saw it looked nothing like mine. So I was thinking, are the fighters/bombers in this game as good as the fighters are in Star Wars: Empire at War? Would building a bunch of carriers and sending clouds of fighters and bombers be a good strategy??
Thanks for the advice. A more experienced friend of mine just seems to be able to pump those cobalts out like popcorn, and me with my three capships were looking a little puny. I'll try that.
I've played RTS for a while, I consider myself a very good player. When they say that Sins is the largest scale RTS, I won't argue. The computers build more ships faster, get more resources easier, and capture planets at a rate that without a computer ally I wouldn't be able to win, which frustrates me and my ego. :) So I ask you more experienced players.
