I see this too, but only as a temporary problem. Whenever one of my towns levels up the terrain around it disappears. If I zoom out and then zoom back in again using the mouse wheel the terrain comes back, though. One thing to try would be to select different video quality settings, to see if that affects it.

Not sure anyone is reading these forums, but here goes anyway. Something that really annoying me with SK:Rivals is that if my army battles a foe who casts any sort of spell that suspends the ability of a unit to use its special abilities (most commonly shock spells), when the ability returns, it's no longer placed at the beginning of the array of abilities, potions, scrolls, etc, so sometimes I have to scroll down past a bunch of scrolls and potions to find the ability to charge m
I finished my game as the Guardian, and never saw a single chest spawn anywhere on the map. Very strange. Really could have used them, too, since I was very short of materials for crafting weapons and armor.
The Resource Harvesting sovereign choice says that it causes goody crates to spawn near crystal mines, iron mines, and other resources. In a game I played as the Tinkerer, they spawned around crystal mines, iron mines, clay pits, and pastures. There were so many I had to use two scouts to grab them all. They kept spawning with a declining frequency until just one crystal and one iron mine were spawning one per turn, which was the way it was until the end of the game.
I saw this bug on my current game yesterday. As described above, defending army (1 mounted, 2 archers, 2 snipers) were left outside the city after the city was attacked and they successfully defended it.
