i think I know what you are talking about, and if I'm right, I think 2-3 seconds is an extreme exaggeration. The graphics of the game cause UB to get stuck on corners and some other places frequently, and it takes clicking in just the right place to get him off of the invisible hook. This is a pathfinding flaw and is the result of a hasty release.
Primz thinks it is 2-3. I feel it is probably between .5 to 2 seconds per stick, but

It happen sometime but hopefully, it doesnt happen all game.
No interrupt used. Two of the times it was against TB in fire mode.
not very commonly... I haven't seen it in forever at least. Just don't queue a grasp and change to spit and you'll be okay.
It happened to be three times last night. Nothing was queued, I was just swiping away at a target. Finally, I don't use spit.

I took a break from Demigod for about 6 months, and decided to give it a shot again. One of my biggest frustrations was the bug where UB suddenly stops chasing its target and dances in place, while the target runs away safely. At first, I was surprised to see it still around. Then, upon reflection, I'm not surprised at all. Still a beautiful game though.

If you had unranked games, I think people would play a lot more casually. Speaking for myself, if the game says "no noobs, or be good" or something to that effect, I will be a bastard when it comes to playing. I'm there to win. If the game is "fun" or "casual" I don't take it seriously at all and don't put pressure on teammates. An unranked game setting would make this even more the case.

Using the following post http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345345 I used ImpulseReactorOptions to set my port range, then had them forwarded from my router directly to my machine. I then disabled Windows Firewall, and tried to run. I still have the same problem. Again, I've been playing fine for months, and nothing has changed on my machine or network recently.</p

Playground, I agree, it's a tough fight. I think the best advice is the piece Trigeminal wrote: cap mid and hold the other side flags. They WILL need to separate, or fall behind in war score. If they move to mid to cap, go get the other flag and lock. If they are capping your gold flag, cap theirs.

My advice is to just set a time, and whom ever shows up, plays. Make it a regular time frame, and we can grow it from there. As far as not having enough people, we can just shuffle players to make extra games. In other words, no players will have set team mates to begin with. Unfortunately, I'm at a gaming conference next weekend, and won't be able to make it (SIEGE Atlanta).

Not sure if it was *the* Frogboy or not, but I think this warranted a story. Frogboy hosted a lobby, and I joined. His team was already full, so I was on opps. I didn't know anyone else in the room, and I didn't check records beforehand. But I thought it would be nice to play against someone intimiately involved with the game. After the game started, I simply couldn't resist chatting to all something like: "Prepare to be punished for not having rating

Leaving a game after about 30 minutes, because you're getting stomped in one thing. Leaving after 2 minutes is a completely different story. Furthermore, he left because HE got killed. HE was the weak link. In the end, the fact that we couldn't see these types of statistics in the lobby from day 1 is disappointing.

There was a thread about people who do crappy things in games, but I couldn't find it. I thought it was important enough to call him out. wolfhound01 hosted an all random game. About 2 minutes in, he drops right before getting killed. About another two minues later, I said "gg... I'm conceding... going to find another game." Back in the lobby, wolfhound01 is hosting another game. Same title, same setup. I went in to ask him why he left.

There was a vague message here that they were migrating some servers away from an ISP that wasn't very stellar. This doesn't explain the lack of communication, or some sort of service level agreement with the ISP, but it is the last quasi-official thing I heard.
