Due to a reinstall of my OS and thus everything else, i misplaced both the nice icons i had and the only battery docklet that i have ever had work correctly. The icons that i used were a combination of two different packages. One set was a plain, simple black set, along with a plain white set, that were all 2-d and very simple. I remember in particular the different 'folder' icons, with different identifiers drawn into a black folder by just having an empty spot. I know, vague. But the

i've had issues with stacks as well. when i click on the docklet, it doesn't stay out, but immediatly retracts. i have to restart it to fix it.

taskbar dock on the left and tabs on the bottom on auto hide. customized systat docklets on the right, based off Judges docklets. the icons are from who knows where. collected from here and there. download tuneup utilities 2008. it does a lot of system maintenance, and you get a 30 day trial. its not even the only skinner, but i just used that one. i used one of the skins they have on the linked website (lava!). i hope dearly that that is what you wanted. otherwise i look dumb.

just in the last day, i've had some severe issues with the start/taskbar bar not hiding correctly. it flickers on or off, or there is the line across the bottom, like it was on auto hide. any one have a suggestion?

All you have to do is create a folder with all of the office applications' shortcuts, then on an existing dock create a new custome fly-out and point it to your new office shortcut folder. i'm running a dell laptop (i know, but whatever.) with vista home, 2 gigs of ram, core 2 duo processor, ati radeon x1400. i think the hardware is pretty capable :D. now, i'm beginning to think your on to something with the tune-up settings, because i have had no end of trouble with getting that thing to interact with my system correctly. it keeps trying to automate and change settings when i've told it not to. so i'm looking into that at the moment. and the weather docklet act

also, cplair, in my original post, you'll notice that i said i really do like them, and i understand that somethings take longer to populate, and that i wish stardock would work at it so that things could load quicker. since it is set up to navigate folders until you open a file, it would be nice if it moved quickly to get to where i wanted to go.

ok, not entirely true. i actually really like them... but they fail, so badly. they are so bloody slow for me. granted, i have more then one configured. but it can take up to a minute solid for the menu to appear, i'm guessing because it is trying to draw up the thumbnails of images or whatever. so my proposal is that stardock makes them not suck. add an option for a quick render, or something along those lines, so that when a folder has a flyout pointed at it, the flyout doesn't try to load

after some slight reconfiguring, yeah, i think its the updating. i'm using less flyouts now, and its running much better. but it kinda sucks that now i can't use the awesome looking flyouts. and now i think i feel the need to start a new thread about flyouts.

a similar problem was mentioned with microsoft outlook. when i lauch itunes while OD is open, it comes up as a black screen, and i have to flip back and forth a few times to get it to refresh correctly. im on OD+ 1.9. anything?

i actually have done so. its actually really odd, and now i'm beginning to think memory use is related to something else then OD, because of the odd variance i get, from 11 megs to 50. (its the usual settled range that is between 18 and 30). i know i definitly have a huge lag when i try to use the flyouts (i have a core 2 duo and 2gigs of ram, so i dont think a flyout should be that challenging. :) ). but thats definitly comforting to hear that its running right there with someone else. now

or, if you desperately need this, use object dock for one, then use rk launcher for another, then rocketdock. or have one dock, and throw three stack docklets on there.

i love having all the info i need in a convenient, easy to see way. i have to have all the time, date, cpu, weather, battery... and i hate icon's on my desktop. for a while i used a double bar of RK Launcher, but i've recently made the switch to object dock and avedesk for my itunes control. my question is, does anyone have a better way to do what i want? i have screenshots below. i like how it looks, the simpleness (especially the awesome tabbed dock for all app launching) but object dock is
