Is not as bad as it seems. It can teach you some things that the engine can do but that are not used in Sorcerer King. Consider it as some kind of documentation ;-)

[quote who="cardinaldirection" reply="1" id="3583224"] are there spells that are only accessible by taking all 8 books of a school? or does taking more books from one school just increase the likelihood of spells from that school being available to research? Very interesting idea! So the player has to choose between doing a quest with no reward at all (except the XP the units can get in the possible fights) or risking open confrontation with the Sorcerer King.

[quote quoting="post"] 7) Spell research closed too fast. By 1/3 of the game I know all spells. Anyway, no spell looks like it can help me turn the side of any fight significantly. Why bother ? More books might also make powerfull spells available. Really powerful, not like m

I think it would be nice to have more information about which spells are avaialable with the different book combinations. At the time of Sovereign customization, choosing spell books it is mostly a blind choice. Yes, players can figure which kind of spells will be available with their choice, and the more they play the more accurate their forecast will be, but a bit more of information would be very useful. What I am thinking is a text saying something like "With this spell books comb

What about a different approach to unlocks? Instead of always starting with the Wizard as the only unlocked Sovereign, let the player choose which will be his first unlocked Sovereign. Then as a new Sovereign is unlocked let the player choose again. So it would provide an incentive for replayability while allowing the player to play his first game with his favourite Sovereign (or at least the one that seems more appealing before trying). PS: But yes, there is a differnce betwe

I would also be interested. Cannot commit to full time, but definitely can dedicate a couple of hours per day and several hours per week. Even more, I would be very happy to contribute to the success of a Stardock game, since you guys have given me hundreds of hours of entertainment. So... Interested. PS: About my technical skills, I made a mini mod for FE https://forums.elementalgame.com/442850/page/1/#

Good that you are changing the crafting system, because I didn´t really like it. I also felt it like some sort of shop. I also like the fact of no having gold to trully reflect a distressed world economy. Just be careful not to turn mana in the new gold, because if mana is going to be used for rushing units/buildings, to pay for some crafted items, and so on, it will end being gold with another name. The part about being trully outnumbered really feels cool, because it p

I think he has modified the Spell of Making somehow to make it even more powerful. After all the winner of Legendary Heroes did not turn into a god that destroyed the universe, so the Sorcere King version is a more powerful one. The original Spell of Making channelled the magic energy of the shards, but SK's version is not just chanelling the magic, is using up all the magic, all the source, and assimilating it.
