I have not tried this yet so i am guessing about the mechanics based on your description. That said, i agree with your idea. It should be something your army needs to prepare for and face either a big force and/or an onslaught.
You have to select the tyrant to experience this.

I posted this earlier in the wrong section, so I'm re posting it in the proper section. As it currently exists, it's easy to unlock and cast due to the ability to siphon your own shards, while this is intuitive and good design the problem is that it casts instantly. I think it should work similarly to legendary heroes where it takes a few turns to cast, during which time you should have to defend against an onslaught of armies. This would allow it to be a victory c
I hate to be an ass but Keurig Coffee is terrible, it's not only expensive but tastes like chalk. If anything this is a good motivation for people to press their own coffee and enjoy a higher quality beverage.

One thing I noticed while playing is that screen tearing is still an issue with Sorcerer King. There are alot of screen tearing issues in FE and it appears that it is still a problem in SK. Hopefully this will be looked into. On another note when you auto resolve battles sometimes units still move to their destination as the battle is being auto battled. This also existed in FE.
