u can also build troop-ships, getting (early game) 1500 peeps of planet does help on morale. Later in the game i build troop-transports that carries 12000 This is good for 2 things: A) U get higher morale on planets due to lesser populations. B) U get a bigger invading-fleet. (which again can scare pesky aliens frome attacking u since they see ure emence millitary power).
