I got the same error message when I installed Bootskin Vista, but when I clicked on the RUN button it worked fine. I can create and apply bootskins. I also get this error whenever I do an update from within Impulse, but the programs seem to run with no prblems.
I just tried uninstalling,rebooting and reinstalling but no improvement.

liquidguru: Thanks, I had been using the cpu meter from the control panel which was not maximized. I just tried a gadget cpu meter and it showed that the dream did pause. Seabass: I have tried the dynamic dreams that are included with Deskscapes 2.0 Beta, and two video dreams I made with DreamMaker. The dynamic dreams use about 45% cpu while the video dreams use about 35%.
I have a single monitor system Deskscapes dose not pause when I have a window maximized. My CPU load is 35% when Deskscapes is running and 2% when it is paused. If I have a maximized window the load is still about 35%, but if i first pause Deskscapes by right clicking on the desktop and then maximize a window it drops down to about 3%.
Does anyone know how to get DeskScapes to pause when a window is maximized?
The uifile is located inside the authui.dll file. Near the top of the file (on mine its the fourth line) is the line element layoutpos="client". You can change client to top,right,bottom,or left and this will change the position of the welcome and logging off messages. I'm still working on moving the user picture and password field.
You can change the font color by editing the unifile section of the authui.dll file located in the System32 folder. Be sure to make a backup copy of the original file first. The font colors are located under the MainFrameStyle section of the uifile. There are two forground color sections, the first changes the username color and the second will change the welcome and shutdown messages.
I would like to have a different image for the shutdown screen, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can somebody help me please!
