Object Dock Denim in Help WinCustomize Forums

Hi, luv your desktopX's. Have Denim up at the moment and am looking for Denim background for the object dock but cant find on your gallery. Can you help pls.

Reinstalling from the Archives in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

:) Hi, just recently I came back on the internet. In 2006 I purchased Object desktop. Have had trouble getting it back. Apparently its out of date it says. Tried to put the regis. nbr in when I purchased it, but it says its of date. Shouldn't I be able to retrieve from the archives and how do I please and also how do I when there is nothing showing up at all on either Impulse or Stardock Central. Would appreciate just a step by step thanks. :SNIFF!:

None of my printers or scanners work - but I'm gonna hang on to Vista until Microsoft bring in the necessary changes and updates. I know how disappointing it is. All the best

I honestly don't know what all the fuss is with Vista. I decided to buy a disc and install. Well, none of my printers or scanners worked, and to be honest, i think its a bit trashy in the sense that its not as clear as XP with its interface wording. Why not multi-boot - thats what I'm doin until Vista comes up to scratch.

If dual booting Vista with XP is the answer, I'm goin there. None of my printers are compatible with Vista, nor any of my software CD's (Not Stardock). Personally, I'm just not happy with it because of the incompatibility problems. It might look good, but hey, we've got Windowblinds to look good. Not a happy Camper with Vista!!

Just wondering if anyone knows when Desktop X will be compatible with Vista Home Edition. I believe its around Spring US time, what date is that please? Love Desktop X, but Desktop X will not reload when restarting or starting from shutdown. Thanks

Hi, Obviously Object Dock Plus 1.9 is not compatible with Vista, but there is an O.D. which is. Not sure which one. I want O.D. Plus and I am running Vista Home Edition. Would appreciate your help which one I should order. Thanks.

Hi, I'm not sure how to do that. Whats happening is this. Some of the Desktop X I download, I usually unzip first in my download folder and where there is a Desktop X logo, I then click that and its immediately installed. But, the trouble I'm having is with those that don't have the logo. So I extract them to Desktop X but they are not showing up. Then I go to Themes Mgr. and into Desktop X and click ADD and load them that way, but they are not loading. Sorry to be such a nuisance. I re

sorry, not sure what u mean. If you mean settings, that not what I'm meaning. I am having trouble installing DesktopX. Some that I install have the logo, which you just click, and its installed. Others are not. They are just all the parts that make the Desktop. Sorry, I'm trying to explain. Hope I am making myself understood.

Having a spot of trouble... in Beginners WinCustomize Forums

I need some help please. Its with Desktop X Themes. Some of them I just extract and click on and bingo, my desktop is changed. Others, well, I'm havin some trouble. They just spill their guts everywhere when I unzip. I have gone to Themes Mgr and Desktop X to load, but they are not loading. Is there some way I am missing to load these. Would appreciate your help. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean. Where's the .exe file. Also, I have had to reinstall my operating system, and at the moment it is loading, but if it happens again, I'll need to know. Can you walk me thru this again just in case. Thanks. (Good to see you love your mother)!
