Doesn't work properly!!! in MyColors Stardock Forums

Ok-when i use Mycolors it only applies icons and wallpaper-but not always the wallpaper that is shown with the theme e.g. when applying gloss grey i get no skinning (just goes to windows classic) and a wallpaper with a horse pictured on it-not the grey one pictured. This also happened with gloss burgandy. I noticed in settings that Screen.exe and Wbsrv.dll are marked as UNKNOWN-which i guess is the problem. Thanks for reply Dewie. Uninstalling the beta driver and using nvidia 257.21 notebook driver seems to have fixed the problem. So its not an issue with deskscapes 3.2 but with nvidias latest beta notebook driver-hope they or yourselves iron it out....

I updated Deskscapes to 3.2 and my nvidia notebook driver to 258.69 (beta) on the same day.It seemed to be fine initially but later on every time i tried to apply a dream the laptop crashed with a stop error when using sli or a video driver recovered error if using a single card. The problem is because i updated both deskscapes and the driver at the same time i don't know which one caused this issue. I will try using a different graphics driver but would be grateful if stardoc

Compatibility with xp service pack 2 in DeskScapes WinCustomize Forums

I notice on the system requirements for deskScapes that SP3 is needed....is this really the case as i would like to try this app but i really don't wont to install SP3 as it caused me problems last time and i had to do a complete reinstall of XP. I didn't think SP3 made any major changes to xp apart from a rollup of previous updates so shouldn't DeskScapes be compatable with an up to date SP2 installation??
