Ah, ok, yeah, I'm not an Object Desktop subscriber - bought by the piece here. Thank you.

According to this news: https://www.wincustomize.com/article/476404/ There should be a 10.0.04 beta version available for WB10. However on my downloads page I only see 10.0.3. When I purchased WB10 it was an upgrade purchase. Could this be why I'm not seeing the beta? Am I just reading the news wrong, do I actually have the latest version? I do not see a news announcement that 10.0.3 is t
Thank you, with that reassurance I just went and bought it. ;) It worked, got a Steam Product Key. It was only a 42.1 MB download however, I expected more than that. Of course the patch that came earlier today was about half a gigabyte so I assume much of the expansion was in that.. :)
I have a question. I own Galactic Civilizations III on Steam. My only method of payment is a VISA Debit Card which Steam does not accept. So, I buy off of Green Man Gaming for Steam product keys and then redeem them in my Steam client. GMG is an authorized reseller and I have had no issues with them over many purchases. As of this writing GMG is not (yet) selling Mercenaries on their store. If I buy directly from Stardock will I get a product key I can then
Hello, I own GC2, Dark Avatar, and Twilight as downloads from the My Account page. When I originally bought all three of those (plus Sins of a Solar Empire) it was when Stardock actually owned the Impulse client and before Elemental forced its sale to keep the company afloat. I also owned Titan Quest on Impulse. Gamestop diddled around here and there with support for the rebranded Impluse and eventually they dropped it. I lost completely Titan Quest. Gone
Right on, thank you very much kryo! I will double check the install location for EULA text files and proceed from there! :) Edit: Ah, darnit, WindowBlinds and WindowFX are single computer only by the EULA. Must uninstall on this computer if I install on another. Oh well, no biggie. Objectdock Plus however allows another install on a personal machine.
Hello, Today I purchased Windowblinds 8 and WindowFX 5. I already owned an ancient copy of Objectdock Plus. I've installed and am using all of them on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. They work fine. I also own a Windows 8.1 64 bit machine. Both machines are mine and I am the only user of them. Both machines are typically powered on at the same time however I am only at one at a time. Is it legitimate to install Windowblinds, WindowFX, and Obj
They got to my ticket! Resolved now, have a Tweak7 registration! Thank you Stardock! ;) :)
This holiday season must be the worst time to seek support. I've had my ticket in for three days now and still no response :( Ah well, I don't mind all in all, I'm sure early in the new year it'll all be good! ;) :)
Thanks for the suggestion guys. Reset Data did not do it however so I'll have to wait for support to respond to my email! ;)
As the title says. From what I'm reading here can I just go ahead and install "TweakVista" and it will magically be Tweak7 once it installs? I saw the post saying all TweakVista owners (which I am) would automatically get Tweak7 and if you didn't then email support. I did so, waiting for my ticket to get to a person. Now, if someone here on the forums can tell me if I should just install TweakVista and it's all good then I'll go ahead and do that? <
Thank you for the reply Hankers, I'm going to install Object Dock on both my machines and I am the only user of them. RedneckDude, sounds like you need to clarify the "simultaneous" using part.. ;)
I have a quick question. I own both a desktop and a laptop. Both are my personal computers and no one else uses them but me. My question is: what if I want to install my Stardock purchases on both machines? Some things like Object Dock would likely be running at the same time if I had my laptop turned on as well as my desktop. Other things like my GalCiv II would only likely be running on one machine at a time. Object Dock is mainly what I'm thinking of: ev
I'm trying to like Stardock, I really am. Couple years ago I started with WindowBlinds and GalCiv II. Great stuff and the customer friendly policy had me enamored with the company. This feeling is wearing off and becoming disillusioned. Recently I purchased Flock!, Mr. Robot, Alpha Prime, and Painkiller. All of these are available on Impulse. After much deliberation I ended up purchasing the first three on Steam and Painkiller on GOG. This is directly
Object Dock is a great program I own the plus version and am very happy with it. I bought it about five months ago now and at the time of purchase it was version 1.9. I'm very worried about the 2.0 update. I know that at the .5 and .0 boundaries depending on time of purchase for versions that it usually becomes a paid update. I have not received a single update for Object Dock yet. When 2.0 eventually does arrive I do not wish to be put into the pay to update cat
I purchased ObjectDock a few months ago when it was already on version 1.9 for quite a while. I really hope I will qualify for 2.0 because if not then I won't have received *any* updates with my purchase. I really like ObjectDock and if I have to pay then I will grudgingly do so but I do not want to. The only other negative experience I've had with Stardock is that I paid full price for TweakVista and although it does what it does well I did not feel value for its normal price. If I had boug
Ok, thank you both! I'm quite happy with OD+ 1.9 right now so theres no reason to go about requesting a refund or anything like that!
Just occured to me that when docked to an edge if you center both the tab headings and center the icons then it would be a cinch to have each tab have a variable width. The location of the tab headings would remain at their respective locations while switching to a different tab so there would not be a jarring effect. At least thats the theory.
I just purchased ObjectDock Plus 1.9 a few days ago (for simplicity say January 2009) and I'm really hoping that I will be eligible to upgrade through 2.4 (or 2.5 - the next major revision). Please tell me whether or not this will be. I had the same thing happen when I purchased WindowBlinds 5, it was so close to 6 that I received an upgrade (and am still using it right now and will most likely purchase the next major revision start with 6.5). I'm fully understanding of cont
@messiah1: I didn't add a reply to your thread as the first reply says my post as well. But additionally, a nice feature would be justification for the docks themselves. It would be nice to center a tabbed-dock on the edge it was docked to. Right now I'm eye-balling it, having it exact would be sweet. And of course, doh if it already does it.
I just bought Objectdock Plus today and am quite happy with it. There is a feature I would like to see (and doh if it is already in there somewhere) and that is centering the icons within each tab grouping. Having them all left justified just doesn't look as nice to me. Also along with center, right and the default justifies would round it out and maybe even kerning (evenly space them in the alloted area) too. Also, I'm on 1.9 - when 2.0 comes out will I have to repu
Use the command line argument "/e, [desired_path] " (without the quotes) and also set the start folder to the same. There is no space between the e, and the desired path. I also usually set the window to be maximized as well :D
Yup it was me being dense. Although in my defense if you don't know what to do then it is an issue! ;) I'm just happy I can play I've been anticipating 1.95 since the 1.92 alpha and am loving it now I can play! Well back at it, just jumped out of the game to browse a few pages :)
Since I changed the relations to Unknown I can also now start a game with randomized opponents and they will not be teamed with me. So, it's fixed 100%. First time I've had an issue with any GalCiv2 products - glad it was resolvable. And a big thank you to Stardock for making GC - a great game, the Master of Orion II of our time!
that's what i said...look in the parenthesis from my previous post!
Yeah, I was being a bit thick there, should have read it more closely!
