Tactical combat in MOO and MOO2 was the best part of the game. I really missed it in GalCiv 2 so I don't bought it because of tactical combat was missed. I really want to see tactical combat in GalCiv 3. It's a key element of game-play for me. I like to build unique ships build-plans and than use this ships to smash enemies by myself. In MOO2 it was really cool. And in GalCiv2 it wasn't. Hope it will in GalCiv 3.

Tactical mode is the most interesting part of legendary "Master Of Orion 2" or such games like "Total War". Will be tactical mode for spacebattles in GalCiv3?
I still have no idea, what is some of the abilities mean: Interest Rates - what for? Crime - is it good or bad? Cabinet Government How does actually works "Espionage" and "Diplomacy"? In what way "Diplomacy" affect the trades in "trade window"? Does it lower the cost of trade goods, or it will give me more trade options or some else? And what "different tactics" exactly gain the race with "Espionage" ability? I could on
Maybe Super Gigantic maps could be released as mod? Anybody who want it could use it personally. And if it's really will be nice it could be included in one of the future updates. Why not? If it will be not from StarDock, but just a fan's mod, then requierments could be other than for original game. Just especially for mod.
It's ok. I would start to wait GalCiv3. I hope it will be better, then GalCiv2. Not like MOO3 (dhg-rgu-wiah-agh) after MOO2. I agree, that Tactical Combat should be developed from ground up to be really cool, but I still want it. <img src="http://images.stardock.
To Darth Kryo: No what? To Vampiloup: I think exactly the same. You are right, combat system is in need of renovation, cause it's really lack deepness.
I don't think it's gonna happen. I mean, what do you want, turn-based combat? YECHHHHH! I don't want any certain. I just want to feel more influence for battle result. For now, it's just a movie, not the action. But I want to participate in the battle. Besides of this, I want to see my pers
The only thing that makes me stop from buying GalCiv2 is that it has no tactical combat. Want to know why? Because if I have Tactical Combat my war becomes the personal war, instead of abstract startegy war. For me it's really cool to destroy the opponents personally in Tactical Combat, instead of watching it falls down by my forces from the Galaxy view. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Yum.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"

Personally I WANT tactical. If I would dislike it I could always tourn it off. But I always like to choose what to do by myself. The sense of option exist is to be an option, so everybody can choose personally. Yes Tactical.
