I've noticed that in fleets with shipds with high hit point values the total Hit points for a fleet, as calculated by GalCiv2, is actually greater than a manual, human addition will show. Is this a bug - if so I can live with it.

I would like to say that I would like to multplay games and, in fact, have just biught Guild Wars - on on-line RPG. This is a free, no charge lay on-line game after the fashion of Everquest but without monthly fees. After playing for 12 hours I can safely say 'It sucks' - as is usual with this type of game you MUST form a party if you expect to be able to achieve advancemennt to higher levels (harder monsters to kill etc). Driver Date: 7/12/2004 04:50:00 (Video), Driver Date: 5/25/2004 18:58:04 (Sound). I have the same driver installeed BUT the date is 25/3/2006!! I suspect that you've not removed the driver (folllow the instructions on the ATI site). Then reinstall Catalyst version 6.3-xp-2k_dd_cc_wdm_enu_3

I do smash their ships, usually, but occasional s**t happens & some get through. Setting up Stabases with added armor, missiles etc via Constructors is good sense but I'd still like to know 'How long to regenerate hit points'

I've bbeen playing now for sometime > a month. I wonder if anyone can tell me ' How do you get ships and Starbases to regain Hit points after damage fromeither pirates or enemy craft. I can probably guess that with a ship you fly to a friendly planet, but a Starbase cannot move! Its these that trouble me most - I can fight off the pirates but take damage. Suggestions anyone? <img src="smiles/BigSmile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab

I'm extremly sorry for you but can only say 's**t happens'! I personally was the victim of such a scam. The route to follow, if you want action taken, is to contact your trading standards office, most towns have one, report as much detail as you can to them. Ebay will cooperate with them and, if your lucky, the scammers will go down - mine did with a £5000 fine and 1 year inside. Try it - you know it makes sense.

I'm saying just that - the sliders do NOT hold their values from one game to another over a save!! They 'float free' and screw up my finances UNLESS I remember and reset and relock them!! Is this not a problem others have seen?? By the by i'm playing the 2nd Beta but

I'm really enjoying GalCivII but have a little niggle, The scrollbars where you set the %ge to be used for Research, Social and Military don't stay locked when you save a game. On reloading a game the first thing I have to do is to reset these scrollbars otherwise I can find myself quickly runniong short of cash. IS IT POSSIBLE OR EVEN DESIRABLE FOR THESE TO BE OPENING WHEN SAVED? Just minor but it really annoys me! <img sr

Is it possible that the Ebayer who sold it to you had already activated it, not liked the game and sokd it. If so your option is to use the serial number swap - this may cure the problem = otherwise contact the Ebayer seller or Stardock for advice.

I thought I heard in the news this am that Vista had been put back for 12 months before release - Dell computers shares dived I believe. Unknown how true this is but BBC have been known to get things wrong before now!
