Microsoft and Steam Store Multiplayer in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock.net Forums

After the latest update, it did not appear that my friends and I could connect if one of us was using the Microsoft Store version and someone else was using the Steam version despite having the same version number. I played this game nearly all weekend and started three games, but finished the last one, winning by conquest. Here are some of the things that jumped out at me.
