I have no desire to micro manage a game like Gal-Gic-2. This would make the game dull, tedious and bore the crap out of me,like Civ-4 where ou can play for hours and nothing happens. The complexity of strategy and ideas make this game the best startegy computer game out there.

As close to the enemies home world as possible. The enemy must be in awe of you. If your culture surrounds their planets then, their citizens will revolt, then its a matter of time before they join up with you. Do not let up,keep building them, until you simply dominate. You must be good at diplomacy,to talk your way out of sticky situations. Also superior research helps a lot. my settings were.... Terran Alliance economics +30 resear
I just won a cultural conquest,id say the influence star base put me over the edge and helped me win.
Ive played and have a victory and want to enter it on the metaverse. How do i do this?
It would make the most sense to have a Terror Star capable of blowing up planets and then have another module available at some expense that can blow the whole system up! Not having a Terro Star in Gal-Civ-2 is not a good thing at all.
I was a big fan of Gal Civ-1 and to find out theres no Terror Stars in Gal-Civ-2,well then if id known that,i wouldnt have bought the game! Bring back the Terror Stars and Bring them back sooner than soon! Balance smalliance,Terror Stars were Terifying, that was their intention, not for something friendly, like inviting the Drengins over for koolaid and cup cakes.
Not having Terror Stars is a huge mistake!
Theres always legal short cuts. Just want to find out what they are.

Any one know the short cuts,(shortest possible path)to trade goods like Aphrodisiac, diplomatic translators? How about short cuts to Techs like Terror Stars?

you still have stuff on there in regards to planet quality from gal-civ-1. Colonizing planets is defferent in this game. The numbers next to the planets do not mean the same thing as they did in Gal Civ-1. I dont know about penalties in colonizing low number planets in Gal Civ-2. If a planet has the number 4 next it,that simply means you can only develope 4 sectors on the planet, higher numbers mean you can develope more sectors on the planet. Pl
I firmly believe the lack of a multiplayer feature is a huge mistake! Why not be able to play against your friends or even people you dont know, its silly not to be able to! Just do the same sort of multiplayer format Rise Of Nations Has. So,what if your scores wouldn't be on the metraverse in a multi-player game. Atleast you could play against other people and computer opponents as well online. To not to be able to share this game with friends and foe
