Thanks for the tips!!! But I for one am still lost on ship building. I dont care what it looks like but more about what it can DO!!! Is there a ship building guide someplace?? I tried using the UPGRADE option on some of my ships but that didnt seem to change anything, ie range weapons or defense from the little ship window. DO I have to move it to a planet or to the shipyard in order to upgrade them????

Thanks for the info. Yes I was a early pre-orderer (beta tester) and I have since removed Gameslop and am glad to know we dont have to use that console wh#Ring website. (Yes I love Gameslop cant you tell [e digicons]}:)[/e] ) Just want to be ready to try out FE. I really have my fingers crossed on this after Elemental.

Ok so if thats how we are getting our copies of Fallen Enchantress..... Am I stupid for not having kept a back up copy of my old SDC app? I havent been on Gameslop since the sale. Sorry if in wrong forum

Really I had my city taken twice so far. One time I had a sizeable force there and after 3 or 4 waves of heroes leading troops against it I was out of mana and lost it, the other time that pops to mind was one of those approx 20 turn games where everyone declared war on me for no reason and wiped me out.

How do you handle the Tech Tree in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Ok I am a newb, but I seem to never be able to keep my Tech and Military viable. What are the Core things that I should research?? Do I just go all out in one Weapons Tech and one Defense Tech??? Should I start a game and begin on building up research or economy?? Basically I am trying to get a handle on not being invaded before I have defender at least in orbit on each planet. I seem to get to spread out on my Tech Development early in the game a

Crashing on me at ship building as well. When I try and save my new design it locks up and does a CTD. THen I still have to bring up the Task Manager and kill the frozen program that way.

Everytime I try and save a Custom Ship the game is crashing. I tried using the Smart Exception but I get a missing SDCZIP error when I try to generate the report What should I do now???
