I read the conversation between Brad and Tatty, so I know what it means (slang for enthrall), and what it's about. However, outside the beta, people may not know what it means, and it could cause confusion. So, if you insist on calling it thrall, I suggest making sure it's explained during the official release. ...or maybe thrall is a common urban dictionary term, and I'm just behind the times

Yea, the ads in my state are getting ridiculous too. What I seen a lot of this election cycle is one politician accusing his/her opponent of something, and then the next day the opponent responds to the ad with an ad of their own calling the first ad a bunch of lies. Which makes it very clear (if it wasn't already clear), that political ads are meaningless, and have to be taken with less than a grain of salt. They just become background noise that you ignore.

A red square is in the city ZOC. I don't believe it should be there. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7drs0jqrzql96fy/Screenshot%202014-10-30%2020.18.55.png?dl=0

With regard to the minor cities. In version .701, I'm able to set up an outpost right next to their cities. It seems like the minors don't have a zone of control. I imagine that if the player does plop an outpost in the minor's backyard, it will aggravate the minor, making it harder to deal with them.

I'm not sure how you got that from what I wrote. The minors are on the map, they have cities. They have units. You communicate to them via the map. There's no trade screen (ala Civ). Instead, it's conversations where you ask for things. It's more like Star Control in that sense. When you talk to a minor, you are talking to a race just like you would in GalCiv. It's just that you're not trading techs or

OK, so it looks like you have you mind set on the Civ V style of minor interaction. I could have sworn that you stated that the minors could battle the SK, but if they are nothing more than a menu of choices, and don't show up on the map, I'm not sure how that's going to work. All I ask, is that a picture of the minor faction is displayed while the player is going through the menu choices. Also, I really don't want a to be notified every few turns (like in Civ V) that

@Thormodr Re: vorpal blade I thought the big selling point of SK was that we didn't have to worry about balance. [e digicons];)[/e]

I would like to see additional unit types beyond what is currently available. Here are my suggestions: Knight: A unit with a higher combat rating than a soldier, but lower than a Paladin. If unit level ups are implemented, this unit would have combat buffs similar to the LH commander. Wizard: A (mostly) non combat unit that would enhance magic and magical effects on the battlefield. Sort of like a commander for magic users. Crossbowman: A stronger archery unit, w

But isn't that how it works now? Release an infinished or broken game and then fix it with two or expantions that you charge the fans $30 or more each. Its a scam and I'm surprised the majority keep on falling for it. And dont get me started about companies that release content lite games and then charge $5 for a series of anemic DLCs.

Brad, I don't know if you noticed or not, but this thread is within the SK sub folder. I assume you intended to place it in an FE/LH sub folder? [quote quoting="post"] The tentative name for the next DLC for Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is Battlegrounds. The new business model for the gaming industry is a blessing and a curse. On one hand, with digital distribution, barriers to enyry have been lowered. You no longer have to pay for cd's or boxes, inventory holding cost. Advertsing and promoting the game is much easier with Steam and the Internet in general. Also early release allows a developer to get cash upfront without delivering a complete product, nor any legal obligation to deliver one. Furthermore the long term value

The pathfinder kit should allow you to build roads. I equipped it to Tandis, then bailey and then a pike man, and unless I'm missing something, I couldn't find an option to build roads anywhere.
