Wouldn' t it be nice for the custom race to be able to chose abilities with negative value? For instance: I do not appreciate "soldiering", so I would like to take a soldiering -10% bonus in order to get +1 points. What do u say? Of course there must be an upper negative point limit in order to maintain a balance in the game... But I think we need this feature !!!

I think that certain settings can be exploited by us... For instance: if you set tech level slow, then you can emphasize (in your abilities) in technology and use the fact that all need more time to develop techs. Another example: if you set habitable planets rare or uncommon, then you can emphasize in speed and gain a great advantage over the others. Ok, the advantage is not so great but it is an advantage. Any prior knowledge is an advantage. It's like starting a new game, saving it, search fo

What initial settings (Habitable planets, Number of planets, Number of stars, Star density, Anomalies, Number of asteroids, Technology rate, Number of minor races) do you guys use? I always put them all "random" except the "tech rate" which I put in "normal". I do so because I think it is more fair (if I set certain settings then this is a information that I can use against the AI). I have manage to defeat the AI in "masohistic" level but I think that I can' t go beyond that unless I pick those

I really don't understand stardock's attitude... I mean ok I can understand what you people say about the fact that the players (including me) want more other upgrades like better espionage, better negotiations... but, I can tell you this: why do you think chess is still being played ? Do you know many people who enjoy playing with a computer chess ? I don't. Multi player mode makes a game diachronic, and I think that your game deserves to become alike. You must not be so negative about this.

I would like to see these events like seeing the news . With a newscaster, the background, the music, etc I wouldn't like to see them in a report, or just presented to us as facts. I hope STARDOCK implement this the first way. And I think it's very easy for them to do so...

I'm a Master of Orion series fan (yes I Have MOO 3 and I don't find it a total disaster) and what I would Like to see in Gal. Civs is definitely GNN (Galactic Network News - something like that). It's not big deal (and perhaps you guys have already included a somewhat similar feature) but I think that it's one of those things that even if it's not so critical, it makes the game more fun. It's something like a pleasant break. What's your opinion guys ? :NOTSURE:

At least, is the battle visible (like auto in MOO2), or a result is just presented to us ? I mean, what's the point of customizing the appearance of your ships if you can't see them ??? The main interface confused me (which is like being in a cockpit) I guess. And in the beginning I thought that you fight battles from within your ship (which I thought to be extraordinary) !!! OK, I must say that I was a little disappointed when you told me that the battle will b

I did not get it right I think.... The battles will be i) like Master of Orion, or ii) Like Master of Orion and with a little arcade action in (this would be at least fantastic!!) ???, Or iii)There are no actual battles and the result is just calculated ? :)

I'm reffering to Stardock people: I agree with your fears about multiplayer mode in a turn based game and with your idea of adding this mode in an expansion. Though, I would suggest you to make a survey. Add a questionnaire in your home page and see how many people are interested. I would definitely be. I believe that it is nice to win AI, but it is always much better when you beat a human. But I repeat, DO NOT DELAY this game for MP nor invest in something that will
