Unfortunately localization is not working properly at the moment in Impulse. We are working on getting that fixed, however. Mike
The advice I followed back then was posted by Stardock people in this forum, and after I had such frustrating results with that,
I'm sincerely sorry to hear about this unfortunate experience. As Shirley mentioned, the official method of communication for support is through . While the community can sometimes provide a quicker response, it may not necessarily always be accurate. For the best-case scenario after encountering future problems, I
Try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will
Good to hear explorer backgrounds are working! [e digicons][/e] I'll let developers know the fire has been put out. Mike
Did you guys see what M$ and Remedy said about Alan Wake? LOL
Yeah, too bad about that one. I was really looking forward to playing that on the PC. While there most certainly are games that are a better fit for consoles/controllers (arcade, shmup, certain platformers, or anything making use of proprietary controllers, of course), I do all my dedicated gaming on my PC. Sure, the keyboard and mouse are multi-purpose, but in most games, it really helps hav
If it's a video dream you're concerned about, you can just use "Stretch" or "Fit" option located under the "Background Settings" section. Mike
Do you have any security applications (antivirus, antispyware, etc) running on your system? Are you using any other customization software other than Fences? Mike
I'll pass this feature request along. Thanks for the feedback! Mike
No problem. That should really be fixed/removed though, so no one else encounters the issue.[e digicons]:d[/e] Sorry for the confusion! Mike
Have you tried other types of internet browsers to check out, like IE , FF or Chrome ? (Be sure to use the latest, up to date versions) Mike
If you're still having a problem downloading through Impulse despite using Gargabee's recommendation to add an exclusion, since you have a limited amount of bandwidth, I'd suggest just even disabling your security app(s) temporarily while the download is going. Although you will still want to use Impulse for upgrading, Impulse Anywhere might be your best bet though. This download method basically allows you to direct download the full game and installer to your computer using your web
If you can attack their transports they send over before it actually gets to your planet, that may be one way to head off attacks. I usually do throw one or up to a few ships in the space port to defend the planet, depending on how important it is to me. A military starbase will certainly serve to supplement your forces (within its radius). Mike
The SDC and Impulse accounts are exactly the same (well, from a user's standpoint). I see GalCiv2 and the expansions in the account you're posting from, so you should have no trouble accessing them if you were to use that same login in Impulse. Impulse is just actually a replacement to SDC like SDC was the replacement to Component Manager. Mike
Unfortunately I don't see a feature like this being implemented as none of our products have a history of making per-user settings. Mike
If anything might not have the autorun option because the right click context menu had been overridden, you can actually just put a shortcut to the gadget/widget/object in the start menu startup folder. Mike
Try downloading and running this (as admin) on any secondary that doesn't have the service currently running: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/reinstall_mpp_service.bat (Note: only click this link in IE) Mike
While it would certainly be favorable and I'm sure there are many who would agree with you, I don't believe we'll see a Win7 update to RC. At the moment, the RC developers are very busy with other projects atm and abandoning these to update RC is unfortunately not currently feasible. Mike
I have been unable to reproduce this issue. If WinMonster2's suggestion doesn't work, you might also try hitting F5 when the desktop is the active window. Mike
If you turn off the "show pre-release versions" option (through the Impulse menu at the top left -> Server , that should give you a version that works. The current pre-release version is not working properly, so you'll need to use the release version. Mike
Is it possible something might've messed around with your system clock after you had installed Tweak7? Which version of Win7 x64 are you running? Mike
BattleFella: What you can do is right click on either of those titles and choose the "Download and Archive" option. When you want to restore those archives, you can do that through the Impulse menu accessed from the blue menu button at the top left of Impulse. You can adjust the directory that keeps the archives from the Preferences->Folders section within Impulse. Mike
Is the OS of your computer localized in French, or English? Also, what OS and version of Entrenchment are you running? Mike
I got the ticket you submitted and did also get your reply.
