It worked!!! [e digicons][/e] Thank you so much. I'll keep these directions in case there's a next time.

Thanks, I'll try that.
Well, I have tried what you said with no luck. What else should I do? I just don't understand why it would be working one day then not the next! [e digicons]X|[/e]
I've used DesktopX for years now, but suddenly it won't load and all Windows will give me is the cryptic message in the title. I've tried restarting, un/re-installing, opening a .desktop file directly from Windows... none of them work. I'm really starting to miss my themes. Any suggestions? I'm running Windows 7 on a Lenovo v570. Here's the gobbledygook I captured: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Appl
I know that Desktop Slideshow will display a constantly changing set of static wallpapers, but is there any way to rotate Dreams? TIA
Thanks guys! I really don't know much about any of this stuff, so these are the kinds of details I need to know. RedneckDude, I'll be sure to check that theme out in your gallery.
Okay, I feel so stupid about this, but I just downloaded DeskScapes and then spent a whole morning trying to determine why my Dream wallpapers weren't moving on my desktop. (This included looking into codecs and other techie things that I really don't understand.) Then I realized something: I was running DesktopX! Surely it doesn't support animated wallpaper. Yep, I exited out of DesktopX and my wallpaper was immediately animated. [e digicons][/e] I hope I'm not the on
Thanks - that's the one I have.
Okay, that worked. Thank you *so* much!
Well, this is weird. The time is now showing 3am and I still have the same birds chirping. (They must be getting tired!) However, now I hear some other sounds behind them occasionally, like chirping maybe. The birds are so loud, though, that I can't really hear the rest.
I installed Natural Desktop yesterday and am running it in Vista with WinXP compatibility. It seems to be running fine, but I kept it on all day yesterday and all I heard was birds. No crickets, cicadas, or whatever else was supposed to play at night. Just the same birds. Aren't the sounds supposed to change every few hours or so? Is there some option I'm supposed to check/uncheck? TIA - I love birds, but I love variety even more!
Wow! Thanks for the info. I have Object Dock - just never thought to use it that way. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks again! [e digicons]:D[/e]
I was just wondering if there was any way to minimize one fence at a time. That's the whole reason I got the program. I thought I could choose which fence to show when I needed it. I don't want to have to go to "Exclude this fence..." every time I change what I need.
Is there any way to edit the category list? Some of them I don't use, and I'd also like to add some of my own. TIA! Kat
I'm trying to create a desktop in which almost every image is a DesktopX object. It's a realistic depiction of an actual desk, with the objects on it in perspective. Some of these images overlap a bit - the lamp sticking out from behind the computer monitor, for example - and I would really like to keep them from jumping to the top when I click on them. I set the z-order for each of them at Desktop Level, but I don't think that effects this problem.
